CEED 2024 exam pattern has been mandated by the official of IIT Bombay. The pattern for CEED 2024 entrance exam is available in Section 1.1. in PDF format at ceed.iitb.ac.in. The examination is held in two parts- Part-A and Part-B. It is necessary to attempt all questions from both parts in CEED 2024 examination. A time allotment of 1 hour for Part A and 2 hours for Part B has been set by the official.
CEED is a national-level entrance examination conducted by IIT Bombay on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India to offer admission to M.Des and Ph.D. programs in design at renowned institutes like IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Hyderabad, and many more.
CEED 2024 exam for Part A is conducted in online and for Part B is offline. The question paper of CEED 2024’s part A includes 150 total marks and part B consists of 100 marks. CEED 2024 Exam Pattern
CEED 2024 consists of two parts. The type of questions in both parts will be different.CEED Exam Pattern 2024: Part A
- CEED 2024 Part A contains 100 questions
- The duration allotted is 1 hour.
- The nature of questions are objective: numerical answer type (NAT), multiple choice question (MCQ), and multiple select questions (MSQ) (MSQ).
- Part-A answers must be typed into a computer. These will be design aptitude questions that will assess candidates' visual and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observation, and design sensitivity.
- Part A marks the eligibility of the candidates for Part B

CEED Exam Pattern 2024: Part B
- CEED 2024 Part-B consists of five questions
- Part B assesses the design, drawing, and writing abilities.
- The duration allotted is 2 hours.
- Part-B questions will be displayed on a computer screen
- Answers must be written in the answer book provided by the invigilator (NOT into the Computer).
- At the end of the examination, the Part-B answer books will be collected.

CEED 2024 Important Instructions
- Participants in the test should bring their own pencils, sketch pens, crayons, poster colours, and materials.
- Part A and Part B questions will appear on the computer screen. Part A questions must be answered on a computer by candidates. Part B answers, on the other hand, must be answered in the answer book.
- Part A will be given blank paper sheets for rough work, and candidates must provide the rough sheets to the invigilator after the exam.
