Bihar UGEAC counselling 2024 is already started from July 20. The last date of the counselling is July 26. The counselling will be based on the JEE Main score. You need to register on the online counselling portal i.e. https://bcece.admissions.nic.in/. The counselling registration fees are INR 1200 for the unreserved category. The counselling will be held in two rounds. If any seats are left then the admission will be taken based on BCECE marks for PCM students. Through this counselling, you can get admission to government colleges in Bihar for BE/ B.Tech courses.
When will the UGEAC counselling 2024 be started?
The BCECE Board has released the counselling date on the official website. The important dates are mentioned in the table below.

How can I apply for UGEAC counselling 2024?
You need to register online for the counselling. The registration process will continue from July 20 to 26 on the official website. You have to register using your JEE Main application number. You have to enter the required personal and qualification details.
You also have to upload your scanned signature and photograph. The registration process will be completed with the payment of your counselling fees. You must download and print the application form (Part A and Part B).
What amount do I have to pay for the counselling?
The counselling registration fees are different for different categories. If you belong to the Unreserved/ EWS/ BC/ EBC category then you need to pay INR 1200. The cost is INR 600 for SC/ ST/ DQ (PwD) candidates.
Can I pay the registration fee online?
You have to pay the registration fee online. You can use UPI, credit card, net banking or debit card to pay.
In case I miss the counselling can I get the registration fee back?
The registration fee is non-refundable. Even if you miss the counselling for any reason the fee will not be refunded.
What are the eligibility criteria for UGEAC counselling?
- You should have passed the 10+2 exam with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.
- At least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subject taken together is required for Agriculture Engineering.
OR
- You must have passed a minimum 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category).
OR
- Passed D.voc Stream in the same or allied sector.
- There is no age limit for the counselling.
- Indian nationals can apply for this counselling.
- If your parents are the permanent residents of the state of Bihar.
OR
- They are from other states but are employed under the Government of Bihar.
OR
- They are employed in PSU located in Bihar.
OR
- Residing in Bihar for a set duration of time as per the norm.
What is choice filling in UGEAC counselling?
You are required to login to the counselling portal and fill your choices of institutions and colleges along with courses. You can edit your choices until the last date. Before the last date you must lock your choices. After locking no changes can be made. You will get an email of your choices in order.
Can I participate in the second round of counselling after getting a seat in the first round?
You can participate in the second round of counselling even after getting a seat in the first round. In that case, your previous seat will be cancelled. You will be given the latest seat. To participate in the second round you have to select the ‘yes’ option in auto upgradation.
What should I do once I get a seat in a college?
Once a seat is allotted to you, you need to report to that college. You need to carry all the required documents for verification. After you pay the seat confirmation fees your admission will be completed.
What documents are required for UGEAC admission?
You do not require any documents during the counselling. Some documents will be required at the time of admission. The documents are listed below.

- Income certificate
- Special category certificate
- 10th & 12th admit card, mark sheet and passing certificate
