There is good marking scheme. Environment of University is very good for study. Practicals are given more importance over theory. Exams are taken three times per semester, firstly monthly exams are taken after 1 month of beginning of classes which we call as first hourly exams then mid semester examination and then final exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

There 10 percent increment in fees every year. A large number of scholarship opportunities are provided to eligible students. There is also very less fees for SC quota students. Financial aid is also provided to students belonging to economically weaker section.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Plant pathology is one of the most important courses of agriculture in which we learn about chemicals, fertilizers, diseases management of plants, and other factors that causes an impact on crop production, and my personal interest was to work on mushrooms that's why I have chosen this course. Faculties in Plant pathology dept. are much educated and experienced in their respective field. 1:4 faculty: student ratio can be seen. All the faculties of the department are PhD holders with vast experience in research, paper publications, and teaching skills. Midterm and Endterm exams are always on time. After completion of 3 months, we'll face a midterm exam and after 2 more months, an end-term exam will be conducted.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to get sit for a placement drive. many reputed companies like Syngenta, Bayer, ParleAgro, ninjacart, and many banks come here for placement. Various packages were offered for the students from various companies. almost in a range of 3-6lakh per annum packages are offered. Apart from this LPU also conduct special classes for students interested In higher education, which helps them to pursue their dream jobs.
