Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the course Plant Pathology because of my interest in this field. Faculty: students ratio is 2:1. The qualification of the faculty is a Ph.D. (Plant Pathology). Teaching is mainly done through PowerPoint presentations. Term exam is taken 2 months from the start of the semester and these are easy to pass.

Class Size : 10Course Fees : INR 17545 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are hiking every year, but the cost of the study is okay according to me. A financial assistance of 3000 per month is provided to the students. The name of the Scholarship is HAU MERIT SCHOLARSHIP. I don't receive any job.

Campus Life :

No annual fest is celebrated here. Only fresher's parties and nss cultural programs are organized. All books and journals are available in the library. Around 4 lakh books. The classroom is well furnished. There is a stadium inside the university for sports.

Admission :

Eligibility was B.Sc. (Hons) Agri. completed from any university within India. Application forms are available on the website admissions.hau.ac.in. Reservations of different categories are available. Admission is through the entrance test marks. The cutoff for this exam was 61 marks for the general category.

A life at HAU.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course of Plant Pathology because of my interest. Faculty: student ratio is 1:2. The faculties are well qualified Ph.D. teaching is done through PowerPoint presentation. Mid-term exams are taken after 2 months from the start of the semester. These are easy to pass.
