Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was interested in chemistry and because my course is applied chemistry, it helps us to deal with applying chemistry knowledge in real life situations, in other words there would be lab work more compared to the theory. Honestly I had a problem with the professors speaking in native language in the class initially which was looked after and changed. I had very knowledgeble professors.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Other students of my class got a scholarship named JVD. I didn't because I belonged to a different state and that too students whose parents were working for government are not eligible for the scholarship. So it was quite hard for me to pay 77000 all together as tuition fees. I reside in the hostel for which I had to pay 6500 as hostel charges and then every month 2700 as mess fees which is compulsory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is for 2 years and the course is run semester-wise. That means four semesters are there. I like to read chemistry that's why I chose this course. There are 40 students in the class and around 15-16 faculty is there. All the faculty members have excellent knowledge of their subject and have a PhD. There are 2 exams per semester mid and end-term. At the starting of the semester, we get the whole time-table and these exams happen according to that.

Campus Life:

The annual fest happens in the 1st week of February and tech fest happens in 1st week of November. There is a very good library. All types of games happen in campus and tournaments also time to time. They celebrate every festival in very exciting manner. Campus life is excellent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I have completed Bachelor in Science just before this course and this is a good university to apply for. In my batch, there was 60 students. Our faculty members includes an Associate professor, Assistant professor, HOD, and lab attendants. Their teaching method includes mainly 3 classes a week per professor and the rest was the lab time. The course proceeded semester wise and we had internal and final exams in a single semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure of BBAU is average as it is a Central University. The admission process includes two modes via the entrance exam or by clearing the CUET UG exam. BBAU also provides scholarships of Rs. 80000 for specific criteria and also they conduct campus placement.

The annual fest is Technosis which is conducted in October month, The availability of books is not too good but the e- library is so good and the journals of books are good. Sports activities are good and a sports fest is hosted on campus. A social group is Gymkhana run by NIT Silchar students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose MSc in applied chemistry because I want to learn and search chemical compounds. The faculty is too good, the student ratio is 1:3, Well-qualified faculty but the teaching methods are very good. Term exams are on time and not too difficult to pass.

Remarks:

To conclude I can say that the infrastructure and hostel facilities provided by the University are just great. However they need to work on the academic front as many teachers are not able to connect with the students in classes which makes classes boring. The library is classic but the labs are equally miserable. A lot has to be done in improvement of research and placement departments. Overall Amity is a good University with some drawbacks which can be ignored if you compare it with other government and private universities.

Placement Experience:

The placements cell takes special care that most of the students make it to the on campus placements. Students are asked for applications for campus placements. They are informed timely about upcoming placement schedules and given training sessions. There are professionals who train students and can help in getting good working opportunities like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Nerolac, ManKind, Ranbaxy, Godrej, Hero and many other MNC's.

Well the exams are conducted very properly in Amity. At the time of examination 2 faculties are their in 1 room to guide and maintain the proper disciple. Students who violates the rule and conduction of exams are given punishment and most probably not allowed to sit in that particular exam. Proper checking of icard and admit is done while sitting in the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My particular course is applied chemistry which involves theoretical and practical knowledge both. So we have 4 labs sessions for 4 days a week and a theory session all days from mon to Friday. The courses involve all important aspects to be taught in my field which udls further important in any industrial area and higher competition exams also.
