Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well updated as per the latest trends, it is well structured. The campus has all the facilities for practical learning like studios, radio station, news room, photography lab and so on. The faculty is extremely experienced with so much of industry knowledge. We have some really reputed personalities from journalism and mass comm. field as our faculty.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, the placement scene is not very good right now especially due to pandemic. The college gives enough opportunities to hone your skills and learn new things which will help you in corporate world, but they don't provide placements to everyone. You have to do a lot of hard work from your end to secure a good job.

Admission:

I was searching for colleges offering courses on Communications, Advertising and Public relations. This was my top priority, the availability of course. Next was the state. I wanted to study either in Bangalore, Kerala, Mumbai or Chennai. I came across St Joseph's in a website names College Dunia. I was called for a written exam. After the exam, the selected members were mailed and called for the interview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since ours was a new course, and we are the first batch, hence it's a bit experimental, however the curriculum was planned and made by industry experts keeping in mind to groom us into professionals and give us out as market ready individuals. Our classes are mostly taken by industry professionals who have a much experience in the field.

Admission:

I registered on their official website after completing my bachelor's in mass communication. The college had an entrance test and selected me on the basis of that. The exam had language, general knowledge, aptitude, and similar aspects.

Faculty:

Most of the teachers teaching this course are external working professionals who only come to teach a specific class on some days. While some are extremely experienced and provide priceless knowledge, others really do not know how to teach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is planned a little randomly and not in order of what is required. This course doesn't have a mid semester so at the end of first semester, the entire exam structure and questions are a complete shock to the students.
