Faculty:

The faulty to student relationship is very good, faulty understand students problems . The faculty-to-student ratio is not that bad. I can not mention name of the faculties but i can say all faculties in polytechnic (EE/EC)/B.Tech (EE/EC) are very good , sometime they become strict but for students good future. some student deserve strict as students don't take their studies seriously and don't behave good. There are two exam :- Internal exam, External or Semester exam. In polytechnic internal exam answer sheet is check by Dev Boomi Uttarakhand University faculties. In External or Semester exam is in done in the (Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University)dbuu university but answer sheet is check by ubter[Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, rookee]. Applied Mathematic -1, Applied Mathematic-2, Engineering Drawing-1, Engineeering Drawing -2 are the subject in which polytechnic student mostly fail as question paper is of 100 marks and it's answer sheet is checked by ubter faculties. It's passing marks are 25 minium marks. for other subject which are theroy based . question paper made up of 50 marks and their minium marks for passing is 13 marks. In polytechnic Electrical engineering , Sunny sir teach digital electronics , he is also HOD of polytechnic department. Make sure you have 75% attendence in his subject. Semester exam is divided in two part , one is theroy exam and second is practical exam , both contain 50 + 50 = 100. Make sure to make proper practical file and it is checked by teacher / lab faculty time to time. Theroy exam is easy if students study . As I mentioned before study hard in applied mathematic - 1 ,applied mathematic - 2 , Engineering Drawing - 1 and Engineering Drawing - 2 . Many students don't study these subbject. UBTER is very strict while checking these subject answer sheet. In 1st year all department such as polytechnc ee,ec , civil, mechnical and cse students classes are conduct in combined classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Industries are shifting from manual to automation in terms of manufacturing and production , which influenced me to choose electrical and electronics engineering as their is scope in this field. Also no one replace or ai robots / machine cannot replace us. I can say i do not regret it. you just need skills such as autocad, basic electrical and electronics compoment knowledge, plc programming, SCADA. these are present industries standard that companies expect from freshers or students.

Faculty:

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:30. The faculty teachers of each branch are well behaved and highly educated. They always want the students to be prosperous in life. They are always ready to help the students. I am a fan of Mr. Animesh Chakraborty Sir (Electrical engineering). He is gem of a person.Be it a issue in field of engineering or anything he is always there to help. There's no such faculty member whom I don't like. Yearly two exams(semesters) are conducted by our board (AICTE) and two internal exams (class test) is taken by our faculty teachers. Almost 90% of the students pass easily the tests and those who don't study for a single moment tend to fail the exam.So difficulty level is very much subjective,I guess.

Campus Life:

Freshers', THE SOCIAL, Tech Fest etc. These functions are typically organized in different months of the year. The library stores over 10000+ books and journals of different branches of engineering Students are offered to play outdoor sports in the playground of our college. Some of the students have got to represent their talents in state level tournaments Different clubs for different motivations and intentions are created such as welfare for nature, helping of poors, etc

Facilities were very poor like one teacher is forced to take 3 subjects even if he is not fully qualified to take the class and they were often rude and have no knowledege and care nothing about childrens. Exam system was like we have 6 semester and each semester is held for only 3-4 months and and internal exam was of 30 marks in which 20 marks in of mid sem and 10 marks for attendance in which qualifying marks was 12 and external exams was of 70 marks in which we have to score 28 to pass which of taken at a centre not in college itself and overall in 100 marks a students has to score 40 to pass.

Placement Experience:

College placement was also available but the bulk employers were providing very low package like only 1.2 lakhs a year and also there were no opportunities and there was a golden opportunity to join a good company which was providing a package of 4 lakhs but i don't know that company only selected 2 students from my branch and also it was random it didn't depended upon marks so this was harsh.

The university hosts a cultural fest every year, typically in February or March, bringing students together for performances and fun events. There’s also a technical fest in October or November, where students can participate in tech-related challenges and workshops. The library is well-equipped with both physical and digital resources, including access to research databases like IEEE and JSTOR, making it easy for students to find what they need for their studies. Classrooms are modern, featuring projectors, smart boards, and Wi-Fi. Some even have air conditioning. There are also labs available for students in IT and engineering to work on practical projects. For sports lovers, the university has facilities for basketball, cricket, badminton, and more. There’s also plenty of room for extracurricular activities like music, drama, dance, and technical clubs such as coding and robotics. Student life is active, with several student-run clubs that help create a vibrant campus environme

Course Curriculum Overview:

From like past in 8th or 9th standard i use to become a technician and then i thought i should get some practical knowledge and some theory knowledge also , so i decided to ITI first and then to take add diploma in electrical cause in nowadays electrical technician must needed literally everywhere. The thing about suggestions is studies is the faculties sometimes cancel our lab lectures so my only suggestion is toh give students more practical knowledge. They take exams frequently like midsem and then end sem exams this make students confident if they pass in mid sem , or if they not it make students to think that they need improvement.

There are also too many books other than Engineering academics. If I talk about technology used in classrooms, there are digital boards implemented in many of classrooms. Campus is not so big but large enough to arranging fests and enjoying college life.

Faculty:

In our college there are four departments, in every department there are 7-8 teaching faculties as well as 2-3 lab instructors or workshop instructors. In Electrical engineering department, all the teaching faculties are next to god level faculties, Asis De sir who teach electrical machines is very strict which implements discipline, Koushik Moitra sir who teach electronics and non conventional energy is like god of electrical engineering as well as real life God. Other than them there are Sharmistha Sen Gupta madam and Spandita Das madam , they are very helpful and teach every concept very deeply. Lab instructors are also helpful and helps us during our minor or major project. There are no teachers to dislike, all are respected , responsible and great. There are total 6 semesters and in one semester there are two internal for every subjects. In one semester there are 5 to 6 subjects. If 60 students get admitted in first semester then around 35 get survived till last semester.

There are one faculty for every 15 students and the relationship between the student and the faculty sir very appreciatable and very very good and the faculty sir very very approachable and they understand the students very well and they help all the way possible for the students to be well performed and the faculty is also very knowledge full and they are passed out from non University. The name of the faculties of the electrical engineering department are Anuj Kumar Ghosh sir , Abu Nawaz sarif sir, Izazul sir, Moloy Dey sir. The teacher I like the most is Anuj Kumar Ghosh sir because office positive attitude towards the students and good knowledge and perfect example of teacher. He is the best teacher in the Malda polytechnic electrical engineering department as I know and I will surely confirm you that he is the best. And I dislike the sir most is moloi the sir because hobbies negative attitude and he is very negative personality. So in my eye the best faculty of Malala polytechnic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I was very very attracted towards the technical and engineering line at first I take arts in in my higher secondary examination but after that I choose to go for diploma in electrical engineering through the expo by the way nowadays jexpo is not conducted and there is merit based performance regarding your 10th pass results so the thing motivated me to take the electrical engineering that I was very much attracted by electrical engineering and from childhood I was really attracted with electric and electronic gadgets so I was choosed to go with engineering and it was the best decision of my life. All the things are good but in the course the labs are not up to the mark. And the examinations of the diploma engineering is not so hard and not so easy and every 6 months there is a semester and in the 3 years of diploma engineering there are 6 examinations and their internal examinations before every semester there are two number 25 marks each and semesters are happened which are 60 mark
