Admission:

First of all i have to do a counselling procedure. After doing counselling i had get this college. The fees of this college is also not as much as compared to other autonomous colleges. I had procured the form in many ways like first of all i had to submit domicile certificate, provisional certificate and character certificate. Then I had to give migration certificate and proof of date of birth and passport size photographs.

Faculty:

The faculty of college is approved by RGPV, Bhopal. College aims is to provide best top quality engineering education and training throughout the communities. It serves and purpose is to meet the needs of technocrats through effective learning and teaching. There is three hostels of college two for boys and one for girls. Ques. Should I join IIT Delhi chemical or top NIT CSE?

● Top Answer By Sushmita Gupta on 01 Apr 23

Ans. Yes, irrespective of the branch, choosing IIT Delhi will always prove to be beneficial for you. IIT Delhi has ties with many big firms that visit the campus for placements and offer great packages irrespective of your branch. One needs to be proficient in DSA and other computer science core subjects such as OOPS, OS, DBMS, and Computer Networks. A good grasp of these will fetch you a high-paying job no matter which branch you belong to in IIT Delhi. Although most companies that visit IIT Delhi also visit NIT, your IIT tag will always fetch you extra benefits and no one can deny that. For instance, the same role offered to an IITiand will have more salary than that offered to a non-IITian.You can easily switch roles and fields given the brand name of the institute you are associated with. IITians even have more opportunities for higher studies in Foreign countries than non-IITians. IITians especially from Mumbai or Delhi are always given preference over non-IITians hence it is advisable to go for IIT Delhi in any branch.Read more

Ques. How are the placements for chemical engineering at NIT Trichy?

● Top Answer By Devdarshini Dey on 24 Mar 21

Ans. The placement cell is very proactive. Companies like management and software companies also participate. They have a 100% placement record. Getting a job is not a very difficult task here.  Categories Chemical Engineering at NIT Trichy Course Fee 5.65 lakh Placement Percentage 100% Highest CTC 21 LPA Average CTC 8-9 LPA Recruiting Companies ITC, P&G, ExxonMobil, Reliance, Schlumberger, St. Gobain, Thermax, etc. Chemical Engineering is an enjoyable course, only if you are interested in it. The seniors here are involved in a variety of things. They have internships in many of the highly reputed colleges both within and outside India. Because of their skills, they have been able to bag some really good placements and some of them have even got into really good colleges for their Masters. A lot depends on your attitude towards that particular subject and your communication skills. You should have leadership qualities. There are lots of high-paying companies that go to college and almost every student gets placed in one or the other company. Only if you put the effort into your field and study with interest, you can reach the heights you want to reach in your career.Read more

Ques. How is the chemical engineering department at NIT Rourkela?

● Top Answer By Ankita Bhattacharya on 15 Jan 22

Ans. According to the student’s reviews online, you should not opt for chemical engineering at NIT Rourkela.  Here are some reasons as to why: The faculty of the department is not good, they are mostly new at their jobs and have very little educational experience. They focus more on theoretical learning than practicals. They prefer when students mug up theories rather than understanding them in depth. The teachers sometimes give so many assignments that it becomes impossible to complete them in time. There is a lot of communication gap between students and teachers. Lastly, the placement scenario of this department is bad. Most of the students are going into the IT sector and a very few got recruited in core industries and many students did not even receive placement offers. So considering everything it is suggested you do not pursue chemical engineering at NIT Rourkela.Read more

Ques. Which is better, chemical engineering from UICET PU Chandigarh, chemical engineering from Thapar University Patiala or computer science from CCET Chandigarh (affiliated to PU)?

● Top Answer By Pankaj Kumar on 05 Aug 21

Ans. Having a few friends from both institutes I might be able to share some facts about both the institutes. Chemical Engineering at UICET is better than Chemical at Thapar University or CSE at CCET. UICET is a well-renowned university and has a reputed department.  They have brilliant placement records and a strong alumni base. Laboratories and faculty at UICET are better than those at Thapar. Course fees at UICET for chemical engineering are very less than that in Thapar University.  Thapar is no doubt a well-reputed university but as far as chemical engineering is concerned UICET is better. CCET is affiliated with PU located in sector-26 Chandigarh. It is well known for its diploma courses. However, UICET is any day better than CCET in all terms. Categories Chemical Engineering at UICET Chemical Engineering at Thapar University CSE at CCET Chandigarh Course Fee INR 70,079 13.23 lakh 2.45 lakh Highest CTC 18 LPA 15 LPA 12 LPA Average CTC 6.31 LPA 7 LPA 4-5 LPA Recruiting Companies Honeywell, Reliance, Pfizer, Piramal Healthcare, etc. Reliance, GAIL, ONGC, GlaxoSmithKline, etc. Infosys, Godrej, L&T, HCL, etc. Your preference order should be Chemical Engineering at UICET> Chemical at Thapar University> CSE at CCET.Read more

Ques. How is Chemical Engineering at NIT Surathkal?

● Top Answer By Shikha Ghosal on 14 Sept 23

Ans. The Chemical Engineering branch at NIT Surathkal isn’t well-known because of its obsolete curriculum and poor placement scenario. I hope you haven’t yet joined it but if you have known that there is no turning back. It’s better to start working hard to compensate for the poor branch than to sit and regret.  It’s better to opt for Chemical in Trichy or Warangal. Otherwise, you can study hard in the 1st year and opt for a branch change. Even if you fail to get CSE/IT, even civil and mining will do.  I have many friends who joined this department recently and all of them are regretting their decision big time. Some even call it the worst in the institution. So I will recommend you to go for Chemical in NIT Warangal instead. Read more

Ques. How good is Chemical Engineering at BIT Mesra?

● Top Answer By Arun Biswas on 09 Aug 23

Ans. The first year lays down the foundation for the entire program so you need to be very careful and smart in planning your routine. Make a note of the following tips that will help you if you are a first-year student at BIT Mesra. Ask beforehand if the bus will take the Bariatu route or the Kokar route for buses plying Ranchi at 1 PM. Maintain a healthy bond with seniors instead of being arrogant. They will genuinely help you in times of need.  Mechanical Engineering lab sessions are a good chance to showcase your drawing skills which might also fetch you good marks. Join the clubs that align with your interests and make the most out of them. Maintain a decent CGPA if you want the best companies to pick you. Don’t mug up the concepts while preparing for the exams rather try to grasp the concepts well, Hope this will help you!Read more
