Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements only after completing their final year. Lenskart offers job opportunities, providing a salary of up to 25k for freshers during campus placements. I'm unsure about the exact percentage of students who secure a job through this process.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college organizes beneficial programs for students and celebrates major festivals like Holi and Diwali, fostering a vibrant, inclusive environment for cultural exchange, fun, and personal growth. That very helpful for students

Faculty

For each department they have enough facilities for taking each subjects and have experienced docters to teach. If you are a regular student, faculties will be soo good u too. They'll help you in studies and academics. Office staffs are a bit rude maybe because of there heavy work but overall it's ok. I don't have any particular name of any faculty as everyone are like same for me. In AHS, as we have different departments we have technicians to teach for each department. Exams are neither too difficult nor too easy. But evaluation system is a bit worst as it doesn't have revaluation or recounting. All we can do is get soft copy of our answer sheet. Evaluation is computerised. Each year contains a final exam on Nov-Dec and a supply exam on Apr-May months conducted by university. College conducts 3 internals and a final model exam. Every examination is held in same campus, internals and models in classes and finals in auditorium. According to my experience, Exam results will be like such that we'll pass if we are lucky enough. But now it got improved a lot and students are passing in high rate. There will be an examination fee for each university exam including aplication fee and fee for each subject. Practical ll be there in which it is conducted in our college for some courses but as for optometry venue will be some other optometry colleges till now.

Course Curriculum Overview

From all the allied health courses , bsc optometry is a professional degree which provides a good career after the completion. The course is included in one of the most difficult courses but have a wide range of job and higher study options. As it includes a 1 year internship we'll get experienced and can be prepared ourselves for a job. We can do higher education like masters or 1 year fellowship or PhD as our interest or can directly apply for jobs in hospitals, opticals or can even teach. Or can have our own clinics. Timetable comes 1/1.5 month prior to exam providing enough time for revision. Study according to syllabus and refer previous year question papers that are provided in university sites itself. Exam will be conducted for 100 marks and with 20 marks internal it will be out of 120. Pass mark is 50% including the internals that is 60 out of 120. Practicals will contain some viva exams and to do

Course Curriculum Overview

I can provide general information and insights, but I don't have personal experiences or opinions. However, I can offer some general criteria to evaluate a course curricular - 1-2: Needs significant improvement - 3-4: Good, but some areas for improvement - 5: Excellent, comprehensive, and relevant Keep in mind that evaluating a course curriculum is subjective and may vary depending on individual perspectives and goals.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because it has a good and growing future. We dont need to depend on the other we can open our own clinic for the same. Here we get to many patients for a checkup so its very real and we can practice for the same whatever we learn we perform in the laboratory and get posted in the hospital and see your seniors and faculty and get to learn many practical things

Faculty

Ig we talk about faculity, they are good have enough knowledge to teach. Use of smart board make study easier. They are helpful to students. Coordinators and mentors are very helpful in every case. My favorite faculty is Mrs. Hiba khan (coordinator). She is the bestest and always support

Faculty

Our Allied health science class had student from various courses together as one batch ,so we had 6/30 student pursuing optometry. We had two teachers for optometry subject and subject wise teacher for common subject like anatomy , physiology etc.Pravin Sir ,our class was my favourite faculty because he was the type of teacher who would push you till you make it.He really went to great lengths to help us, he conducted regular test and also pre-exam.There is no particular faculty whom I disliked because we were treated really well because we were from different state and also they were big fan of my hometown. There are around 4 internal exam every year and regular class test. Our internal's marks were calculated and sent to university.Any paper will be difficult if you didn't prepare for it but as far as I know the paper were from medium to difficult level . Everyone who prepared cleared the exam but those who took college for granted didn't clear any of the subjects. The curriculum is very much relevant to our courses, they regularly arrange CME's , quizzes and tests.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to work on medical field so I chose this degree for myself. The curriculum and the college really prepare you for the world . I was an extremely introvert before joining college but now I can even make a peep talk to unknown person. College really helped me grow out of my comfort zone. The course is on 4 years, 3 years of college and one year of internship. During second and third years we are given hospital posting of 3-6 months where we learn about refraction and different tests and their importance to make a diagnosis. There is only 1 university exam per year during college.

Campus Life

1. Annual and technical festivals are very very very poor in this college, recently they have their technoraaz which is so poor according to me bcz I attended events of other colleges of my friends colleges and they are so good in comparison of my college event. 2. Idk I have not explored the library yet but yes the library is so huge, I think it have good amount and diversity in books and journals. 3. Facilities in my course is projector with steel chair which are really uncomfortable and 5 years old fans. ???? 4. Nothing offered till now., they have a sports complex but I think it is only made for show piece 5. No clubs,. nothing This college is so poor in these things .

Faculty

1.Faculties are good , very helpful and supportive, they understands students from a friend perspective. 2.Vinay sir of optics, they are very friendly. Idk the best faculty, according to me it is vinay sir. 3.There is no such faculty till now for me. 4. For our course we have two exams One in first semester which is of 20 marks only and then we have exam in second semester bcz our course exam system in on yearly base not semester base. I think all cleared. Course curriculum is so far relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview

As we have micro patho exam as one exam . It's very difficult to study . So we need to change more syllabus for this. And also quoestions papers asking is not relavant. The frequency and the time of exam is not along with our perspective on the difficulty level. For more improve we need practicals.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college yearly fees is about near 100000 and my course is for 4 years . So our fees structure is about 400000 for 4 years including tution fees, caution fees , registration fees , developmental fees , lab fees, admission fees . Simlarly every have same fees structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

First of all the college is just a piece of shit but the friends I got were so amazing About year wise fees it almost came upto 1 lack and in that it doesn't include transportation fees(optional) and for 4rth year it's the same. For other functions they will also collect fees for the programmes. In this college our principal will always gives priority to physiotherapy student, sometimes he forgets about other department and that's so irritating.I am a son of a fisherman so I got scholarship which is equal to the tution fee but for claiming it we have to pay the college fee first About the management, the management is controlling by few old people and these guys are making so much shitty rules like they still lives in their 70's.overall this college is just a 2.5 out of 5. The events are so good it's onething that I should inform and also the canteen

Campus Life

The infrastructure provided for studying is very good and sometimes some of the equipment won't work very well because of the poor maintenance leaving that everything is good. And the social life is quite ok because there are many snakes are study with and without me and sometimes it makes me confused The campus have really good events and other day celebration those are perfect memory for my life

I choose optometry course for my future betterment.i am well satisfied with my course and curriculum as it pays more importance to the field of ophthalmology.but the exam levels are more difficuilt as it contains lots of hard level subjects. Internal exams conduct in a year.and at the year end main exam is conducted by the university.
