JIPMER have a lot of festivals and cultural programmes.Best known is Spandan which brings every one together.It also encourages festivals like holi to celebrate and conduct lot of cultural programs.Apart from Jipmer student association ,it have separate committee for culturals, sports. Classrooms are having high facilities with Ac.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The allied health science course is for four years.Tuition fee for one year of course is Rs.11410 and the hostel fees per year is Rs.20000.The college encourages one to apply for various central level and state level scholarships and helps in getting various documents.

Fee structure: first yr - 75000 but now it was increased to 150000, in the first yr we will get concession on 10th and 12th-grade marks and later two years fee was 75000 and there was no fee on internship ... we can easily get the opportunity for this courses if we are interested we can join in this same hospital for the job...

Course Curriculum Overview:

At first, I want to study medical courses,I didn't get a seat in MBBS so I selected this field and this courses are going to be high in the future ... and the faculty was so good , we are getting good medical practice .6 semesters for 3 yrs and 1 yr internship.

Freshers event , Attitude and marvellous events takes place in the auditorium where well known celebrities also come to perform and cheer up the young students There are two well mantained library which includes course bookes as well as other books . Classroom is well furnished and clean and the technical appliances regarding studies are also availble such as projector . Almost a lot of sports filled and stadium such as basket ball , swimming pool, badminton court. Etc ..also many sport competition also helo yearly

Placement Experience:

From the last sem 6 th sem, students are eligible for placement. May hospitals such as downtown ,apollo , also and outer state hospitals also come for offerings I dont know the highest and average package ..sorry . Almost 90% of the students get placement though they claim for 100% placement. But overall placement is good . My plan is to go for any available placement which i get for.

The faculty of the college is great they are very cooperative with us. The teachers are knowledgeable and take our doubts after each class and are flexible on the assignment submission dates. The professors pay personal attention to every student to ensure that everybody understand the concepts well

Admission:

The admission is based on the marks one scores in there senior secondary examinations, in my case i scored 85% and secured a seat. Post selection I had to visit the college for document verification and fees submission. The admissions weren't long and tiring the process was speedy.
