BCom Financial Markets Scope

After BCom Financial Markets, students can either discover career prospects or go for a master’s degree, which is a popular option, as there are several postgraduate courses for BFM graduates like MBA in Finance, Financial Risk Management (FRM), CFA, CS, and Chartered Accountant.

  • Chartered Accountancy (CA): It is the second best course in the world. CA is mostly concerned with accounting rather than finance. However, because it is such a thorough course, the application of money management will arrive in due time. It takes about 4-5 years to complete CA. You may anticipate a yearly salary of about 6.5-7 lakhs.
  • Financial Risk Manager (FRM): FRM is developed specifically for students with a background in banking and finance. Furthermore, it is a worldwide-recognised course that will add significant value to your resume if you are able to finish it. You must pass two examinations in order to pass FRM; FRM Level 1 and FRM Level 2 are two levels of FRM that take place twice every year in the months of May and November.
  • For a global course like FRM, you'll need to spend approximately INR 1.2–1.5 lakhs. Furthermore, if you complete your FRM, you will be able to get a job that pays between INR 5-7 lakhs per year, which is pretty good for an entry-level employment.
  • Chartered Finance Analyst (CFA): The Chartered Finance Analysts Institute in the United States administers the CFA programme. A globally renowned number one investment course would set you back around INR 2.5 - lakhs. When you consider the value this course delivers, the prices it charges are insignificant. Compensation would be in the range of INR 7-10 lakhs.
  • Company Secretary (CS): The Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducts the CS exam. However, you can begin after 10+2. This course deals with qualitative thinking that takes precedence over quantitative reasoning. The costs for CS are cheap, ranging between INR 30,000 and INR 40,000. After earning your CS certification, you may expect to earn about INR 5-8 lakhs per year.
  • Master of Commerce: After B.Com, most of the scholars choose M.Com. It is a bit like the advanced version of B.Com during which you'll do the systematic study of the core commerce subjects.
  • Masters in Finance or Accountancy: If you would like to review finance or accounting further then you'll choose this course. The technical aspects of finance and quantitative methods are going to be taught. The duration is 1-2 years.

Look its just a building of 8 floors out of which 5 floors are of Mithibai college. In the building we have seminar hall on 6th floor, we have canteen on 7th and a recreation room on 8th floor. So, all bases or basic things are covered well and this makes our college a one to look forward to. Centralised air-conditioned and most importantly a small but a cute little digital library. Our annual event Kshitij always have celebrities as guests and this year we had none other than Shahid Kapoor as our guest.

Faculty

Faculties dont just offer teaching here as mentorship and guidance are also offered by them. The crowd is so heavy that if i include all department of commerce it will ne nearly 1000 ofd students and still the best ones are always in teachers eyes. What else can i expect our of them. Hence, still naming a one faculty is so tough but Pravin Tambe sir has to be right in favorite list. A top top educational background and a top teaching method is what makes him the best in my eyes.

The BBA program at Pillai College of Panvel presents a robust and dynamic curriculum that effectively bridges academic learning with practical business skills. The course stands out for its comprehensive approach, integrating world-class resources like Harvard Business School Online materials and offering specialized tracks in Family Business, Entrepreneurship, Financial Project Management, and Sports Management. The curriculum's strength lies in its strategic design to prepare students for real-world business challenges. With mandatory internships, a dedicated Business Simulation Lab, and faculty members possessing extensive industry experience and academic credentials, the program ensures students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical insights. The diverse specialization options, including Business Analytics, Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management, and Digital Marketing, provide students with flexible pathways to align their academic journey with career aspirations. Faculty

The Faculties are much approachable. The Best faculty i encountered is Jaison Thomas. He understands students requirements and mentality and sometimes gives free lecs to release the fatigue. But in the end he does finish his portion. Some teachers are very very serious and are dominant and powerful towards students.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered in various developed and small, medium as well as mnc companies. The internships are well defined and progressive for students. I did internship with PhillipCapital for Business Development Role. The roles offered for students are of various domain offering expertise and options.

Placement Experience

Campus placements typically begin in the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the college's policy, with eligibility requirements like a minimum GPA. Companies like motilal , toothsii, and various startups often visit for recruitment. The number of offers made varies by college and course, with 30-40 companies visiting for a batch of 100 students.

Campus Life

Campus life is vibrant, offering a mix of academic and social experiences. Annual events like the Annual Fest (held in March/April) and the TechFest (in October/November) bring students together for cultural and technical competitions. The library provides extensive access to books and journals, with online resources available for research.
