Faculty

The faculty here are amazing. The relationship between them and the students is very approachable and friendly. They are always available at their cabins. Each and every faculty had their own way of teaching and dealing with things, so I did not have any faculty who I liked or disliked in particular. Although my favourite was Prof. SAMUEL JOHNSON who was a great teacher, his classes were always interactive and he made sure that everyone participated in the class. He was practical and the way of teaching was unique and amazing. So there are CAT-1, CAT-2, FAT exams. The difficulty level depends on the faculty and how they set the paper. Most of our classmates managed to clear the exams except for few. The exam paper, difficulty level, the evaluation, everything depends soley on the faculty. So for me, if studied one night before also, I managed to pass the exams with a good score. It's all based on how you manage

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no reservation benfits, I joined this university as my friend recommended this. Our batch for Bachelors in Commerce was the first one in VIT-AP University. No registration fees, No lab fees So I have been a part of the G.V Scholarship programme for students who have percentile in class 12th above 80, where tution fee waivered and bus facility is also free if you are a day scholar. But since I was a hosteller I had to pay for hostel and mess fees which were around 1,02,000 for 2Bed Ac Room and 68,000 for Veg mess( for 1 year). Caution deposit of 15,000 was credited back to my account after I graduated. Day scholars had the most of benefit as they didn't have any payments

Fees and Financial Aid

This was one of the Best universities that I've went to.VIT is approved by University Grands Commission and accredited with A++ grade by the NAAC. The yearwise fee was quite affordable and less for the quality of education that I've got from this university, with good faculty and big campus, the main auditorium, anna auditorium can hold all the students in the campus and can host college events and About classrooms, with high infrastructure facilities and hi technology adaptation. When I joined here, the admission fee went about Rs. 8000 with caution deposit of Rs. 2000 which is refundable afterwards. Library membership costs about Rs. 1000 which is compulsory there and it's quite useful for those who are interested in extra information regarding the syllabus. I had a total fee deduction of Rs 15000 comparing to my batchmates there, I came here with a caste reservation, Almost the same fee's incase of other caste reservations. My friend got a scholarship named Smt. Rajeswari Viswanathan Memorial Scholarship which is eligible for some of the eligible candidates, and there's a lot of scholarship allowances in VIT, vellore.

Faculty

VIT is a very good college for those who want to enjoy their college life to the fullest. You'll get a great bunch of people from different cultures to hang around with. There are a lot of faculties and each class room is provided with faculty advisor and they are approchable. They are available for every problems that you face in the period of time. Especially, Miss Sunita, she was my favourite faculty. She was very approachable and friendly with the student's Exams were quite difficult and students don't fail often because we get a good mentorship from our teachers

* I took admission in 2020 and at that time fee payment is semester ways total of 6 semester and in each semester you have to pay 9000 rupee. so a total of 54000 for 3 years. and there is small amount as admission fee and pta fund to a total of around 5000 rupee. I got admission through merit so I don't have donation fee but some of my friends paid donation between a range of 35000-45000. * And I took admission in self finance department for aided students they have no semester fee only admission. and to took admission in non-self financing course of bcom without merit you have to pay an amount of 75000 which is single payment and has to be paid at the time of admission. * There is no scholarship from the college for obc students but I got an amount of 5000 for academic performance to one student each class of students they pay the same amount. other than posmetric type scholarship no scholarship is provided from the college * Other than bcom there many other courses like bsc physics, polymer chemistry they have different fee structure. for BCA they have 18000 fee for each semester which is most fee in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

Fees and Financial Aid

As a bcom finance student at Swami Vivekananda College you required to pay upto 45k on a yearly basis which comprises of alltye amenities such tution fee computor lab fee admission fee Development infrastructure fee etc etc... The overall compulsion of the fee structure of all the subjects are listed below: Bcom finance Year1- 45506 Year2 -46616 Year3- 49866 Bcom e commerce Year1-45506 Year2-46616 Year3-49866 Bcom general Year1-8716 Year2-7831 Year3-9081 There are several other courses offered by our college to students in the field of commerce such as bba( bachelor of business administration), BMS ( bachelor of management studies),Bbi ( bachelor of banking and insurance),bfm (bachelor in financial marketing) and also several courses in the field of science arts as well as law There are various types of scholarship facilities given to those whose family income is less and are belonging to sc st castes the schedule caste and the schedule tribes. Also there are cuttoffs which might vary accordingly to students yearly percentages On an average the minimum cuttoffs are 50-60% in their board papers or can go upto 80 to 90% for the actual cutoffs

Faculty

Their is a balance between the faculty and the student ratio by providing of equal amount of teachers for the students present in each department The faculty their is very familiar and easy to interact with. You can anytime approach a teacher in case of any difficulty faced. One more thing which I appreciate about this college is that they have built WDC members who look after the needs of the victims who are facing difficulties from opposite genders or any ragging taking place. Being an 1st year student I must say the most preferred faculty for me would be my own faculty teachers as they are easy to coordinate. Looking after the exams every year we are having 2 semesters with 2 internals With marks varying according to their role if they are major or minor As they are college level exams the difficulty level of the same is not as much as the school based one overall they are average in difficulty Still the students could fail in these exams inturn facing kts which they can give at the end of their yearly semesters

Course Curriculum Overview

Finance is a field where it deals with a lot of accounting and budgeting . I personally love these topics so it would be great to take up this course and know more about the financial statements a company prepares during a particular financial years and the drawbacks and pros and cons it faces. Finance department is considered as the most important department in any organisation so without knowing or tracking the inflow and outflow of the company one cannot earn profit or loss. So if you are interested in knowing more about finance related topics and are planning to work as an accountant or any finance related posts then go for this course .

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently doing Bcom finance and the tuition fee per year amount to around 45000/ year. This includes the admission fees which depends on ur 12th percentage and the registeration fees close to 500 and caution deposit of 5000 is collected. There are no special scholarships here.
