BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and is a popular undergraduate Ayurvedic course. BAMS counselling is conducted and regulated by the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC). 

The BAMS Counselling process for BAMS admissions requires students to have passed 12th (PCB) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Students need to qualify for NEET to become eligible for BAMS Counselling. Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) has reserved 15% of the seats for All India Quota Seats for Under Graduate courses (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS). Registration for round 3 counselling is conducted between October 9 – 14, 2024. Seat allotment is done between October 15 – 16, 2024 with the result releasing on October 17, 2024.

Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) of the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, New Delhi is conducting Online Counselling for allotment of 15% All India Quota Seats of Under Graduate (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS)/Post Graduate (MD/MS) courses under Govt./Govt. aided Ayurveda/ Siddha/ Unani/ Homoeopathy Colleges, Deemed Universities (100%), Central Universities/National Institutes as well as internal seats of Banaras Hindu University.

AACCC-UG Counselling

• 15% of UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under government- or government-aided institutions in all States and Union Territories are available through AACCC-UG Counselling.
• 100% of undergraduate (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats are offered by national/central institutions.
• Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, offers all undergraduate (BAMS) seats.
• 50% of NEIA&H's BAMS and BHMS seats are in Shillong, Meghalaya.
• All Deemed Universities have 100% of the UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats available.

BAMS Counselling: Eligibility

Some considerations for general eligibility for BAMS counselling include.

• Basic Eligibility: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board or institution to be eligible. Although the qualifying examination's particular subject requirements can change, candidates must normally have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as mandatory topics.
