BA (Hons) Bengali: What is it about?

BA (Hons) Bengali course provides an introduction to the Bengali language with emphasis on practical written and spoken Bengali. This course covers tenses, script and sounds, verb morphology, and adverbs, postpositions, noun phrase structure and case, adjectives, conjunctions and basic sentence structure. This course provides candidates with a basis to approach research topics relating to Bengali literature and culture.

This course allows candidates to interact with Bengali speakers in Bengali and to acquire familiarity with the Bengali script. Some communicative practice is established through learning language around dialogues and role plays dealing with a range of everyday situations. This course also provides candidates with a basic knowledge of Bengali and practice of using Bengali in a variety of everyday situations.

College annual fest and Bengalivista are the annual and technical festivals in the college. You can find any kind of books and journals in the library. There are smart board and projector in the classroom. Annual sports functions, APL and ASL. Anti ragging club and cultural club, drama club .

The campus life is good. Annual programs are held. Nobinboron- the freshers and farewells are held. There is library in the college, books are provided from the library. Sports are played. We used to play football regularly. There are cricket and volleyball.

Our semester fees is around 3500/- and exam fees is around 400/-. I got scholarship in first semester, it was Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. And it's enough for providing our college fees. There are no job opportunities in our college campus because it's a general digree college .

Campus Life:

There is a NCC and a NAS in our college campus. A library with more than thousand books. Lack of seminar is held in our college, and annual function and annual sports held. There are lots of chance in extra curricular activities and hand made things workshop.

Campus Life:

Yes there was fest helding approx. Every three months and mostly seminars was held And frankly speaking there was no such campus lif but the thing I can say is that the classrooms are good enough for studying and the library also have large stock atleast for my course i.e Bengali hons. I can say that Sports was also held in the winters in the near by field. There were many social groups in college but I was not a part of any and I will recommend no one to join, as u come to college to study not to do groupism.

Infrastructure of this college is really so good there was nothing for any complain. Students was friendly Above all there was no ragging.A peaceful and calm natural environment made our mind free. There was a gyme centre, friend group. Library was really good and many many books we read. In our study room we learned many things with our faculties. Extra curriculum activities was there like dancing, singing, acting, drawing, magazine release. Classrooms was clean with healthy environment.

Campus Life:

The college campus had football ground, cricket ground and tennis ground along with some activities like NCC.The college had a very large library that housed all kinds of books I had ever seen.The college used to have annual sports competitions.
