Q: How much scholarship will I get if I have taken admission at NIET Noida through UPSEE counselling?

If you dont get a seat through the fee waiver category, you still have to pay full tuition fees that are 1.4 Lakhs in NIET Greater Noida. After that, you can apply for government-funded scholarships. Most will be for undergraduate study. If you miss out on applying for scholarships initially, dont worry. Many senior students have the opportunity to apply for scholarships. If youre denied a seat through the fee waiver program, you can still apply for a scholarship. The amount of tuition fees you pay will depend on whether youre afforded a fee waiver. If you dont get a scholarship, remember that you can still apply for government-funded scholarships. Most will be for undergraduate students. Likes

They take studies very seriously. There is no scope of not improving.
A student cannot bunk classes. The rules are too strict.

Dislikes

The staff is bad and they try to dominate the students.
The college environment is not good and can ruin your mental health.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees has to be paid in college. The fees is maximum for 1st year around 175000 but for 2nd year its only 100000 not counting hostel fee. They charge fines and exam fee on other basis. There is no particular scholarship from our college in process.

Likes

Good for placement and good and Supportive teachers .And curriculum also good.

Dislikes

College campus area is small and No cultural festival celebration and 85 percentage attendance compulsory for exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

College Tuition fees is 1 lakh and other fees like library and labs charges total fees is 1.6 lakh for one year. But it is more expensive than other colleges and it's does not provide scholarship for students.

Last but not the least i like the placements and the seminars that held time to time in my college.

So here comes the main thing ,the first thing i disliked about my college is there are no fests in our college.There is only a diwali fest i a year
Second thing i disliked about my college is the campus area.My college has very small campus area.

Now,let me tell you about the fee structure.so the tution of my college for 2024-25 fresher is approx 1,80,000 per year for first year. Second year ownwards it decreases to approx 1,35,000. It includes all tution fee ,service fee,examination fee. Scholarship is given on the basis of your 12th results.

I liked that the college has got immense recognition in a very small period of time, it is recognised to be one of the best engineering colleges in greatter noida and also ranked best aomngst colleges in Uttar Pradesh
There are many activities and clubs which are pretty active. I myself was a part of Music society, i served as the coordinator there for an year.

Dislikes

There's a little or no industrial approach that they follow, i feel more indsutrial visits should be planned for a better exposure of knowledge and field work to students.
According to the number of students, the campus feels a little smaller. I feel there is a need to increase the campus so that a larger number of people can accommodate well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Tution fees doesn't increase every year, increasing tution fees is not a fixed policy. They may or may not increase it. The complete cost of Btech Biotechnology, the field I am pursuing is approximately 5.01 lakhs, including eveything except hostel facilities. Scholarships are provided by the govt release every year, people whose financial condtions are not upto the mark are allowed to fill the form. The amount of Scholarship is nearly 50k. Campus employments start from 4th year, right now I have just completed 2nd year so can't answer this question.

In my college the teachers are well trained and educated as they can full fill the desire. They are also trained with the every technology to work with
In my college the classes are of good size and well good in size and air cooled equipped with smart board and good lighting conditions

Dislikes

Our college is to good but all the building are not fully air conditioned
They didn't conduct any fest and celebration in our college

In my college the fees structure is as same as shown on the website the fees structure for the first year is 174600 but on next year onwards the fees is 150000 students those who come through aktu councelling they set an up government scholarship per year and our college also provide hostel in the campus Our college also provide a reward money prize for the college topper Students

The fee structure is fine as it is not that much expensive as compared to other universities for MBA. The college does not provide any special scholarship but yes you can apply for UP scholarship which is provided by UP government.

Faculties of my college is very supportive and overall major faculties are well qualified, knowledgeable
Atmosphere around here is quite good in terms of fun with college mates.students are helpful to each other.

Dislikes

Our college spread in 14 acre which is not a large area as we have only one ground for all the departments like no separate football and cricket ground
First year student cannot go outside from the college campus during lunch due which generally many students face problems as it doesn't provide freedom for 1st year students only but from second year you can go outside during lunch

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The niet take 1.80 lakh for academic fees in first year and after that it takes 1.35lakh per year which include all type of academic fees like tution ,exam, medical,sport etc.Generally nietchanges in his fees structure every second year this changes will be around 20k to 30k per year.Niet is rated A+ naac so if you have good branch in it you can take loan easily and the all loan facility eligibility require for particular branch is written on its official website. Niet do not provide not any type of scholarship to students itself but some government scholarship is available for only students who have take admission through counseling.Uttar pradesh give 50k to 60k scholarship to up residents.For bihar students they can take loan from Bihar student credit card upto 5 lakh.Generally college do not give employement within college campus. College helps student for finding internship through some referral in 3 rd year student.Our college has an incubator department for startup which help

The thing I personally like the most about NIET is that it's very skill development focused.
NIET encourages you to be creative with your learnings, implement them in your life and innovate for the betterment of the society.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not air-conditioned at all.
They will prioritize your studies more than anything, no matter if you're a leader of any club or anything.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The college fees is around 1,75,000 Rs. for the first year and 1,65,000 for the remaining three years. They also provide scholarships to students who belong from EWS and Fee waiving to those with good JEE rank.

Fee is little bit higher for normal students. But they provide scholarship to home state college students which is helpful for the parents as well as less burden on student . Campus employment opportunities are preety good here.

I like about my college is their placement opportunities for all students.
I like faculties of my college because they are very understanding, improve my ideas related to any topics, give sufficient time to do any projects.

Dislikes

The campus of our college is small for any fest and sports event
Academic schedule is very hectic. Like 85 percent attendance is mandatory.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees structure of our institute is quiet high. As for per student in first year B.Tech branch the fees is about 1.75Lakhs only for first year. UP government scholarship is given to the students in this institute. Placements is also good in this institute.
