College fees are 85000 per annum and hostel fees are 47000 per semester. The internship is mandatory in the 8th semester and stiffened given is 26000 only. No, as such a scholarship is provided by University for students.
The fee structure for this college is very high compared to other state colleges even though this is government college. Some students get scholarships according to category. But other students which belong to general and obc don't get this scholarship and it becomes harder to pay these fees.
There is 10%hike for every year, With a cost of 1st year 179000Rs. There are very scholarships for scheduled caste and other backward class category students but I did not get any scholarship as i am from the general category.
The fees structure for MBBS is INR 80,000 per year. Generally, no scholarships are offered as it is a goverment college, and also I don't think so that loans are needed as fees are not so high. In an internship, an intern will get INR 15000 per month, so in one year of internship, you can earn INR 1,80,000. The average salary of MBBS in the goverment sector is 45,000-50,000 per month and in the private sector, their salary will be 25,000-29000 per month. Good network at government medical colleges and hospitals. But they are not offering you a scholarship on the basis of your marks. But you may apply for scholarships under many schemes of the goverment ( e- portal scholarship government of Punjab ) if you are belonging to a category then you also may apply for it and get your scholarship. The internship will be for one year at the hospital through which you can earn a stipend of at least INR 15000 per month. After PG if u ger job then u can earn more than 70,000 per month in a goverment job and in a private job +50.
After 2016 the fee structure is hiked by the government by 200% and there are some scholarships given to the reservation students no scholarship for financial help is given to the general category students stipend is given in the internship as per criteria near about 12000 rupees.
The fees structure recently has been updated and hike which is very unlikely of a government institution. For this course, the fees are around 60,000 per annum. Before the 2020-2021 session, the fees was around 35,000 but now the fees have hiked drastically due to semi- privatisation of the institute. For the poor and the lower and reserved class, there is a provision of fees concession. Not only for these, but there are also many criteria for fees concession. Apart from this, there is no scholarship scheme provided by the institute.
There are a bank in hospital named rajindra hospital which is also a branch of college. You have visit there regarding loan facilities. There are also some scholarships for students of categories other than general.
