05 Aug, 2025 DAV College Jalandhar PG Final Merit List 2025 has been released on the Government of Punjab Centralised Admission Portal. Check Merit List. The First Counselling will be conducted from Aug 4 to 6, 2025, followed by online open counselling on Aug 8, 2025. Check Schedule.
DAV College Jalandhar was established in 1918 in the memory of Mahrishi Dayanand Saraswati. The college offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in various specializations such as Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, English, Food Science, Geography, Hindi, History, Journalism & Mass Communication, etc.
- Candidates have to submit the applications offline.
- For Bachelor’s courses, applicants must have passed Higher Secondary Examinations.

DAV Jalandhar UG Admission 2024
At undergraduate level, DAV Jalandhar offers Bachelor’s in Arts, Journalism & Mass Communication, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Applications, Food Science & Technology and a number of disciplines of Science.
Candidates applying for disciplines under B.Sc must have passed class 12th in Science (Medical/ Non-Medical) stream with at least 40% aggregate marks. For other UG courses, candidates who have obtained Higher Secondary Examinations Certificate in any stream with 40% minimum marks are eligible to apply. Admissions to all the courses will be merit based.

DAV Jalandhar PG and PG Diploma Admission 2024
DAV offers Master’s in a spectrum of disciplines of Arts, Science and Commerce. For M.A courses, candidates must hold Bachelor’s in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s in Commerce (B.Com)/ Business Administration (BBA) are eligible to apply for M.Com courses.
For admissions to Master’s in Science in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, candidates must have a Bachelor’s in Science with at least 50% aggregate marks. For M.Sc in Information Technology and Computer Science, only the candidates who have Bachelor’s in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications/ Computer Maintenance/ BCA/ B.Sc (IT) with 50% aggregate marks can apply.
The college also offers PG Diploma in Computer Applications and Financial Services. Applicants who have passed graduation with at least 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for PG Diploma courses. Admissions to both PG and PG Diploma courses will be merit based.

DAV Jalandhar Application Process 2024
Applications for admissions have to be submitted offline. Candidates can download the application form by visiting official website of DAV college.
Follow the instructions to download the application form:
- Select Download Prospectus link under the Admissions tab at the home page.
- Select Application Form link at the redirected page of the website.
- Get the print of the form.
- Fill in the mandatory details and attach the required documents.
- Submit the filled in application form to the college admissions office.
Candidates have to submit the self attested copies of the following documents along with the application form:
- Class 10th mark sheet
- Class 12th mark sheet
- Graduation mark sheet (for PG admissions)
- Character certificate from the institution last attended
- Migration/ transfer certificate
- Any other certificate supporting candidate’s claim to reservation
