There were too many sections of one subject also the student's strength of arts is much higher than in other courses. I chose arts for psychology and the department of psychology is too good and experienced faculty. One of the problems I faced was the daily sitting plan sometimes classrooms were empty sometimes not daily another classroom for one lecture

I opted for BA Psychology along with other subjects such as Sociology and Elective English and also the two other compulsary subject HCP and English Compulsary. From my experience, curriculums such as practicals for Psychology are given properly and It is fun doing experiments and it is indeed a fun way of learning. It helps us to understand a given topic clearly. And for theory, all the teachers i came accross are well qualified and they also tried their best to help students and make them understand properly.

I wanted to try other streams besides NEET and JEE so I told my parents that I wanted to pursue a BA and I got selected for this College. For further academic pursuits, you can easily get as due to exposure to open-minded people. Overall I personally don't think we need any improvement at the moment as all are top-tier. The exams are conducted well timely and so such difficulty is faced me.

Well, when talking to your teacher, I can mention that I chose the BA course because I have a keen interest in various subjects like history, literature, sociology, and more. I appreciate the opportunity to explore a wide range of topics and gain a broader understanding of the world. This course allows you to develop critical thinking, research, and communication skills that will be valuable in various career paths. Just be honest and share your genuine enthusiasm for the subjects you'll be studying. Good luck with your conversation with your teacher! ????

DAV College Chandigarh placements has a remarkable record of 90% of its students placed annually. The college favors academic merit as students with higher academic marks often bag better employment prospects. After 4th semester students can get jobs in IT companies and other jobs. The average package of DAV college is 5.8lacks and the highest package per annum is 8 lacks. My plan after completing my graduation is to get a job in an IT company or private sector.

Our college provides job placements and internship opportunities in the college. As far as it is concerned there was a sudden increment in job placements from the college and many companies from different spheres like computer, IT, Telephone, communication, etc. are provided. As available on the internet, the truth is that offers up to 3-4 lakh per annum are on averagely provided and the highest packages are up to INR 20 LAKH per annum. Approximately 23-25% of students are placed annually in different companies. However, after getting a degree I do not want to pursue the job but I want to home my skills and experience and put them into my family business.
DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.
The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.
DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.
Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
