- Campus life is pretty good and vast. The students are very welcoming
- Teachers are friendly and make you feel comfortable. They make sure you study and enjoy your college Life
Dislikes
- Infrastucture is pretty bad but it is acceptable comparing to other colleges.
Placement Experience:
5th and 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Various companies like infotech,haeir visit campus and interview students . Students are selected skill based and those who have passed all the exams with good percentage.

- I really liked the campus of the college . College classroom , grounds, canteens are really good
- The overall atmosphere and various clubs of the college
Dislikes
- The number of good job opportunities provided
- The regulatory of teachers in classes. Some teachers used to be absent in their lectures
Placement Experience:
The college do provides campus placement to the students. But the annual packages companies used to give is not too good. Very few companies good package comes to the college. In the last year you became eligible for placement. 20-40 got placements and joined the companies . Many students were not interested.
Likes
- Teachers were good cooperative also. They know about their field.
- Ample of free time also. Syllabus was not vast.
Dislikes
- Sometimes classes not happen in college.
- Campus was not so big so one easily get bored.
Placement Experience:
5 semester students becomes eligible for placement. Don't know about highest package but know about average package it's 2.5 lakhs. Generally there was a bulk hiring. Almost 50% students get placed. My plans after this degree is to get a job in IT sector.
Likes
- I liked the way of teaching of the faculty very much. there experience could be easily be seen from their way of teaching.
- The campaign and the initiatives taken by the students for the poor people are very appreciable.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are very bad which includes the washrooms and the mess in particular.
- The process of any listening to a complaint is very time taking.
Placement Experience:
1) The students become eligible for the placements in the 3rd year. 2) The average package is 300000rs per annum and the highest package is 1100000 RS per annum. 3) The placement rate is 30% to 40%. 4) I will go for MBA after getting my bachelor degree. 5) Around 30 companies visited the campus.
Likes
- Happy to be a part of DAV. The commerce and science departments are having good buildings as compare to B.A department.
- Free wifi in limited area of college campus. library and open grounds are the best part of the college.
Dislikes
- Coming to the cons- Attendance is not taken seriously, they take up a few hundred bucks at the end of the year and let go of those who don't even attend one single class (they will take down my review I am sure). Yes, this is very prevalent here
- Not enough coaches to train one in any field if one wants to start from scratch. You'll have people who can guide if you are already a professional. No place for amateurs, especially in Sports.
Placement Experience:
DAV College Chandigarh placements has a remarkable record of 90% of its students placed annually. The college favors academic merit as students with higher academic marks often bag better employment prospects. After 4th semester students can get jobs in IT companies and other jobs. The average package of DAV college is 5.8lacks and the highest package per annum is 8 lacks. My plan after completing my graduation is to get a job in an IT company or private sector.

- The college is in center of city so everyone can reach easily.
- Hostel is inside the college so it's just a 1 minute walking distance
Dislikes
- Some teachers never come to take class so i can say teachers are not that much attentive
- The infrastructure is ok ok. But according to fees it is good
Placement Experience:
Mainly from 5 semesters , companies start coming with their job offers or sometimes in 4th semester. The average package is 1.5L and maximum is 18L from D.E Shaw. But from many years this company took no student. Percentage doesn't matter for placement. What matters is your communication skills.

- The crowd of DAV college is really very great so the vibe of the college is really amazing
- Second thing is friendship .i got my life partner from this college so this is very memorable for me
Dislikes
- As a javelin lover i really miss javelin throw in this college
- Most of the students are go towards fashion and their looks but they should focus on their studies at this time .So there should be same.unifrorm of all the students
Placement Experience:
In the final year of their course, students are eligible to apply to the companies which come to the college for hiring students Companies like dr morepen , Cadbury, Microtech, etc. About 60 to 70 percent of students get placed through companies visit in the campus But I had not applied at the time of graduation because I want to do a master's in applied chemistry so now I'm pursuing a master's in applied chemistry and after this, I'll do phd.

- No proper coaches for basketball or football
- Less rate of placements for average students
Placement Experience:
Our college provides job placements and internship opportunities in the college. As far as it is concerned there was a sudden increment in job placements from the college and many companies from different spheres like computer, IT, Telephone, communication, etc. are provided. As available on the internet, the truth is that offers up to 3-4 lakh per annum are on averagely provided and the highest packages are up to INR 20 LAKH per annum. Approximately 23-25% of students are placed annually in different companies. However, after getting a degree I do not want to pursue the job but I want to home my skills and experience and put them into my family business.
Placement Experience:
Students can go for placements in their last and second last semesters. Many renowned companies have visited us and several offers have been made in the past. The highest package for my course would have been 100K. 60-70 per cent of students go for placements. I'll have my masters in the same subject and look for research-based specialisations.

The student becomes eligible for the placement from the 5th semester. Companies like Mahindra. The average package is 4 lakh and the maximum package is 14 lakh. 15% of the total no. of students in the faculty. My plan after getting the degree is to gain an internship or get an degree of MBA
