Because of my interest, I wanted to be in legal profession, good opportunities are there. Rapid growth. Well qualified and helping faculty. Student ration is around 30 to 40 students per section. Qualification: All were PhD qualified, and Net UGC net qualified. Teaching method was traditional means no use of laptop or ppt method. Difficult level was moderate, strict checking and earlier they used to conduct semester wise but later they started it yearly.
I chose law with BBA because I want to become a corporate lawyer. Students are many here means around 60 children in one class but the faculty are also many and good. All the faculty are best in their field as they have full knowledge about their subjects.
The course is very interesting. I applied because I am interested in this course BBA LLB Hons. Students strength in our batch is 120+ students. And ba llb has a different batch. Students ration in one section is 60 students approx. Teachers are well educated and they guide well in class with proper Ph.D. Term exams have difficulty level because time less and paper is lengthy one need to pass the exam to save there semester from the back.
I chose BA LLB (Hons.) because it was easy to study the subjects which were there in these course as I am from a humanities background. The Teaching Faculty is well educated and they have done LLM and PhD. in their respective subjects. Most of our faculty members have done doctorate and have the name in social work and research work in the law field. The student ratio of our course is almost 350 students divided into three sections of 75 to 80 student per section. The method of teaching is very interactive and they use different modes like PowerPoint presentation and written method to teach. Their teaching methods are very effective and it's very useful for easy understanding of a child. The sessionals exams are held after a gap of 2 months and in every semester there are two sessionals and one end semester exams which are conducted by the college. The question level of every exam was moderate.
I chose Law because my aim is to become a High Court Judge and Dehradun is basically an educational town. Thus, I wanted to study here at Law College Dehradun. I found one thing common in every teacher and that's their a way of solving your doubts is so easy that you won't have a doubt on that topic after leaving the class. The faculty here is highly qualified and friendly, they are simply awesome in their teaching. The faculty: student ratio is 1:25. The term exams were held on time, they were neither early nor late. The first and second seasonals were held online and the end semester paper of 1st semester was taken in writing when the college was reopened in February. The exams were tough for those who didn't study seriously during the classes because in online exams teachers gave those questions which they discussed while solving the doubts.
I wanted to study law and my college is locally a renounced in its locality. Faculty Student ratio- 1: 70. The best part of LCD is its faculties. they are extremely wise and experienced. Totally focused and helpful to the students. The administration is too good and discipline is a big concern for our college.
Course Curriculum get updated after every semester, course is basically designed as per the syllabus of judiciary exam and civil services examination, students get notes of each subject after the completion of particular subject. Despite of this there is ample amount of opportunities for industrial exposure. College have its own Internship and Placement Cell to assist students for securing good internship. Faculties are really outstanding. Most of the faculty members are either preparing for judicial examinations or have an experience in preparing students for judicial examinations.
It was my dream to be a Lawyer yo serve society while earning money. And help the poor people with free legal aid. Protect the rights of the individual. A maximum of 60 students in class with 8-9 facility members. If we talk of ratio in total.15 professors in 200 students. 1 professor for every 13 students. It is a good ratio. The faculty is well qualified in their particular field. Many of the professors are M.Phill from Delhi University or Doctorate from a recognized University. Gold Medalist from Banaras Hindu University. Ex-Judge of District Court Assam teaching Civil Procedure Code. Every teacher has its own method to teach but a common guideline is to give brief pf subject then prepare a skeleton of rules and then covering it up slowly with tests and presentation at the end. There are 2 semesters in a year. Every semester is divided into Internal exams of 30 Marks and Main External for 70 Marks at a gap of 2 months which are added at the end. Difficult to pass is upon the student
The fee structure is not easily feasible rather it is expensive according to the normal lifestyle of a middle class Indian one has to pay the fee e into installments for one year after 6 months each and if you are residing in the campus hostel you need to pay extra fees that is equal to the tuition fees.
