Yes. The hostel is very good. Good is the hostel. We have lot of fun there. There are two people per room. The room doesn't have ac. The warden is also very kind and helps whenever we need it. It is great.
Gender ratio was pretty good although it depended on the course too. For example, Arts stream had barely 10 to 15 boys while the rest were girls out of a strength of 50. the ratios were more balanced. There was no blatant discrimination seen in any policies and the college overall seemed accepting of a diversities. However, since the college is in pune, it did have a quota for the pune students for admissions.
Hostels were good and well equipped. regular refurbishments were done and facilities were maintained. premises were well guarded and supervised by wardens always to avoid any incidents and keep students in check. it was almost like military school as none was allowed to bunk college and also during someone is sick, good care is taken.
Campus is the first lookout for the boys and girls when it comes to college admissions. MITID has a good enough campus. It is not very huge or big but also can't be described as a small one. MITID has also has been on a good rating with its extra curricular activities such as football cricket etc. The sport also was supported with good teaching faculties.
Campus life of MITID is the best. Ratio between girls and boys are 60% girls to 40% Boys. But there is no gender discrimination in the college. There is equal participation of girls and boys in all the academics or extra curricular activities. There are so many extra curricular activities are conducted annually.
