Note:
Hostel rooms in 1st year is state of the art, from second year onwards, various different kinds of rooms are available at different price ranges to suit the requirements of different kinds of students. The mess food is good too in comparison to other places.
Rooms are normal is size with cupboards and study table with bed and mattress and also with attached bathroom. One room is shared by 2 students. Hostel seats are easily available but AC rooms are limited so the one who pays earlier gets the room, it's like first come, first serve.
My hostel is Amartya Sen hostel, and I feel it's one of the best hostels of Indian colleges. It has air conditioning, single occupancy and attached toilet, with round-the-clock hot water. There are water coolers on every third floor, this is a disadvantage. It is well furnished with a huge bed, it's 1.5x normal bed

We all had smart class. Very student friendly and ragging free campus. I personally loved my college life. There are a plenty of extracurricular activities that happens in the college that makes sure the students make the best out of their college life.
Infrastructure is best in MCODS. We have air conditioning class rooms with a projector. Sports facilities are also the best we have many courts and all game materials are available. Our college has always supported sports. There is a large library with more than thousands of books, journals, newspaper, novels even story books. Library has free wifi with computers. Equipments in lab are in the best condition and we are supplied with unlimited materials to work with, everyone is given a individual material.
Yes. I live in sharda hostel in the manipal university campus. The facilities in the hostel are remarkable including water coolers 24*7 wifi facility and security. I have opted for a single room in this hostel.
There are different hostels located in different parts of the city, each suited for different needs...the facilities were above average based on my experience...the rooms are fine with good ventilation..all basic facilities are available round the clock..the mess food is homely enough..but if you come from abroad, the best will be to opt to stay in the NRI hostel which will help you adapt better..
