Entrance Exam Preparation Tips

Every year on an average 30,000 candidates appear for the NEET MDS to take admission into the MDS seat of their choice. Securing a good rank in the NEET MDS exam is possible if the right study techniques are used.

  • Start early: The earlier one starts preparation for NEET MDS the better. Plan preparation strategy as soon as possible. The ideal time to start preparation for NEET MDS is 7-8 months before the exam.
  • Refer only standard textbooks such as Shafers for Oral Pathology, Carranza for Periodontology, etc. to build theory concepts. Avoid studying from short guide books as they are not helpful for NEET MDS preparation.
  • Practice and solve MCQ from good entrance books such as Gowri Shankar, Neeraj Wadhawan, Dental Decks, and Dental Pulse.
  • Make a timetable and study each day at the same time. Divide and allot specific days for studying each subject.
  • Do not pull all-nighters as it leaves one tired the other day.
  • Do not spend too much time on one topic or subject. Try to cover more topics quickly rather than studying limited topics for a long time.
  • Take guidance from seniors and experienced mentors. It is also helpful to join a good coaching institute such as DBMCI MDS, CEDEES, and DAMS.
  • Make crisp notes, revise and update them regularly.
  • Plan and organize a schedule in such a way with the last 3-4 months of preparation solely dedicated to revision.
  • Study from past papers and attempt mock tests regularly even if not fully prepared for it.
  • Continuously evaluate your performance after giving mock tests and identify weak topics for further studies.

Well faculty members are pretty good, they are very supportive and friendly, they always try to explain the things very clearly and in an aspect understandable to all they shared their experiences also. They give suggestions for future plannings, they provide notes and courses full details, they explain things that relate to daily life experiences.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fee is high compared to many other universities offering the same course. They provide the best facilities in these fees and they always help us throughout the course and after that also, so the support from the college is very good. The total fees comes down to Rs 5.4 Lakhs for 3 years.
