Big enough campus with hostel facility and nice staffs and facultiee
Has a gym , resource centre , chill out zones for students to be stress free

Dislikes

The place where it is located should have more urban place
Takes a somewhat long distance to reach a metro city

Placement Experience:

Placements , are after the 3rd year and you can approach many companies for internships college helps to find the internshipsso that your experience get higher and make a good chance of getting placements. Most of students get into a good placement, about 85% students makile into it. My plan after getting the degree is to get into a company and then complete my PG.

Resource Centre was a good place with lots of books/articles available
Mess food was good with different options

Dislikes

Infrastructure was not good, less money spent
Fees was high compared to the amenities provided

Placement Experience:

After the completion of the degree, you are eligible for placements. Placement opportunities exist but employers usually consider interns over employees since that would lessen their wages to be paid without hiring anyone. The companies that come for the placements are good providing at least 5lac catch for UG. Percentage of placements is less.

Placement Experience:

80% of my seniors were got placed with many great big companies like Gucci, Grazia and many more with the highest package of 7-8 lpa but can go up to 10-11 lpa, the lowest package is 3 lpa and the average is ~4.5 lpa. Almost every student gets internship easily with big brands as visual merchandiser, graphic designer, fashion photographer, stylist and etc. roles are offered.

Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

•Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. •8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. •Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. •in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.

Remarks:

I have always been interested in fashion. I kept searching for the best colleges since I was in 8th grade. And I found out that National Institute Of Fashion Technology is l the best college for fashion. So I applied for it and thankfully got admitted. Honestly, nift is actually the best college, studying there is fun and the facilities are amazing. The faculties are great and friendly and strict so that we all can do our best.

Admission:

Understudies need to download the affirmation structure fill it and send it with the necessary measure of DD. You ll get your confirmation card and need to give a GAT and Feline test directed around the same time. When you clear these tests you are sent the dates of circumstance test where you need to make an innovative thing with the things given to you, In the wake of clearing this you get your position and appropriately you can settle on your course and focus.

Admission:

I Visited the official website of the institute and the admission form after downloading it from the site. The eligibility criteria for the admission in a Institute is the candidate must have passed 10 + 2 examination. NIFT also take entrance tests and shortlisted students are called for interview.I was lucky to be selected.I choose accessory designing as i was interested towards it and i love the way Accessory complete the whole outfit.

I applied in the college through online mode of application. I filled up the necessary details. The basic eligibility criteria is the basis of your scores in CAT and GAT. After clearing the entrance tests held by NIFT I got the admission.

Admission:

To get admission in this college you need to clear CAT or GAT entrance exam which is organised by the NIFT department. After you have cleared the exam, you will be called for a personal interview round and a merit list will be prepared based on your marks in the entrance tests. 5% seats are reserved for the SC/ST/OBC category.
