Note- The students will be allotted admission at the discretion of the University of Calcutta. At the time of physical reporting at the college, the candidates need to bring along original documents along with two passport size photographs of the candidates.

For honors students they need 55% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in subject but they also lower the limit. Online application facility is available and fees structure is not too huge for poor students. Reservation facility available for sc,st and physically challenged students. It will be good if they provide previous years students marks or class or division on the prospectus while they admitted new students.

- One cannot enter our college without I'd card. I think it is so good but anyone can forget it to bring at any day . So I think there will be another system as smart attendence by QR code.

One must have Mathematics and Computer Science or Mathematics and Physics as subjects in class 12th. Cut off is dependent on the results of the students who have applied . One can get application form from cyber cafe and can fill it up in online mode. Application process starts after the declaration of 12th board result. Application fees of this course is around rs. There are some reservations for SC,ST,OBC,EWS categories. Interface of the application form can be modified. If Subject change related process can be done in online it will be beneficial.

10+2 with minimum 80% marks in the honours subject is the eligibility requirements. you can find the application form from the Bidhan Chandra College Rishra Official website after your 10+2 result publication. you can fill it out from your laptop or desktop, or you can fill the form to go to your nearest cyber cafe. Reservation is available for the SC, ST, OBC Candidates. 5% to 10% relaxation in the previous qualified examination for SC, ST, and OBC Candidates and PWD also gate relaxation in marks. after filling out the form you have to pay some application fee like 500rs, then submit the form, and then print out the form for your further use. you don't have to submit it offline. after that just wait for the college to publish the merit list. Bidhan Chandra College Rishra usually publishes 1 merit list and breaks them into 3part. one after another part of the list can get a chance to admission to the college. The admission process is fair enough, but the union members demand more money from students.

There is no entrance test for admission and it's based on merit score only students who get 60% above for eligible for this college. My college geography department is very good. There is a reservation facility for sc, st, obc. I want to see the entrance exam in the admission process.

It was fully on the merit-based admission process. Firstly I have applied online for admission then a merit list was published. After that, I have to go to college for verification. For verification, I have submitted the documents physically and got the brochure of the college.
