Greater Noida Institute of Technology, also known as GNIOT became operational in 2001 under Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University. Developed by Shri Ram Educational Trust, the institute is AICTE approved. Applicants seeking admission in the institute can select any of the courses from M.Tech, MBA and MCA. Admission to all the courses is done through CUET PG counselling based on the score obtained in the CUET PG exam. BTech courses admissions are based on JEE Mains score followed by UPTAC Counselling.
The placement cell offers training, placement drives and internship opportunities with over 300 recruiters on board. Some of the top companies include Accenture, Genpact, Godrej, Reliance and Infosys. The average salary package offered is 3-4 lakhs per annum.

- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with any of the optional subject Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject.

There are 4 specializations in the M.Tech course viz Mechanical engineering, VLSI Design, Computer Science and Civil Engineering. The intake of each specialization is 18.
GNIOT M.Tech Eligibility
- A candidate must have passed B.Tech in relevant branch with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved category)
- Candidates with a degree of MCA and M.Sc. in relevant stream are also eligible.
- Candidates not having Mathematics at 10+2 level are required to qualify a non-credit course on Mathematics of Intermediate level in the first semester of M.Tech Program
NOTE - Those who have a valid score of GPAT/GATE in the desired branch shall be given due weightage.

GNIOT MBA and MCA Eligibility
A candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent recognized by AIU with at least 50% (45% for reserved category) marks.
NOTE - In case of MCA, candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level.

GNIOT Selection Procedure

- No ragging campus, students are average well behaved.
- Computer labs are well developed and AC library for free internet access and to study from books. Canteen available for average good quality food.
Dislikes
- You've to wear uniform some days. but it's opinional, only few weeks at start of semmester they ask for it.
- Sometimes they do drama over attendance, also very less holidays.
Admission:
Fee structure was good enough at the year of my admission comparatively to all other engineering colleges in India or Greater Noida. + they were the only ones providing specialization in CS(AI-ML). so, I choose this college.
Likes
- Whole College infrastructure is very good.
- Well maintained labs, grounds, libraries, etc.
Admission:
I had taken admission in direct mode on management quota seat. I did not give any entrance examination. So I directly went to the college and there in the outreach cell they explained me about their institute and course curriculum.
Likes
- Teachers are good enough. They hel6you during weekend if you have any doubts or you are weak in any topic or subjects. The Lab facilities and library facilities are pretty decent. The study environment is also nice for students.
- The campus area is good but the canteens are pretty average here. If we talk about sports then we uave basketball court and football ground which is good in condition most of the time. We have seniors who are good enough to guide us.
Dislikes
- The hostel facility provided by the college is not so good . Students always suffer from food facilities and other hostel facilities. The warden is good eveb though our problems take loke forever to be solved.
- There are many restrictions like you can't play music in the corridors, you can't go to terrace and many more. If you are late due to any emergency situation even though if you inform the warden right away he doesn't co-operate with you at all.
Admission:
For eligibility criteria You should atleast have a score of 75% from PCM. If you are taking direct admission then there is an online test of 30 marks ehich you have to clear with atleast 15 marks. Depending upon the marks you scored you will get the course you deserved. If you want to take admission through entrance exam then you can take admission through JEE and UPCET. For admission you need to score atleast 80 percentile to 85 percentile. The online exam is of half an hour with an average difficulty level which is pretty decent for students who want to take admission

- Here teachers were very friendly and supportive and the most important thing is that they make sure that every student are understand what they are teaching
- In our college every complain listen by our dean and they make sure that the problem will short out
Dislikes
- Desk and benchs were not in a good condition
- Some of the students were not behave well in a college and i think there should be strict rule for these kind of students who do hooting and shouting
Admission:
For cse you should have 70% in 12th board in pcm. And for admission you can directly visit college and ask for a admission they will take a test to know your ability and if you qualify the test you will get admission. And some of the seats were reserved for jee and cuet student

- They don't provide any break after classes
- Toilets are not well maintained and sometime water not come.

Eligibility criteria in this college for btech is nothing you only have to pass your 12th examination and you can directly take admission in this college and admission fee is 1000rs for the form and you should deposit half of the fee at the admission time.

- The faculty member because the faculty of my course is very educated and motivating
- the campus life is very nice and safe as the college follow the ragging free policies

- The hostel of the college is very much unsatisfied as the fee is pretty unfair and expensive
- the staff of the hostel is pretty much hostile as the warden have drinking problems

The admission process is very simple as for the direct adimission there have to exams or GD/PI and for the compititive examination student the criteria changed every year according to the average score

- Hostel is pretty expensive and lifeless and food is the problem

The admission process have different methods as per for the directly admitted student , they don't have to do any test beside the section division test And for the JEE or CUET student the criteria is change every year.

- Faculty are very understanding and helpful to the students
- Good opportunities are given to every student of the college

- AC and water cooler problem as some classes doesn't have AC and water is not much good only good water at some places
- Placements are not that good.. Technical placement are less .
Admission:
The application form is available on internet or official website and admission fee is 1200. JEE MAINS cutoff and percentile is applicable and 12th marks also for the admission. Admission process is friendly and good.

- The faculty members is more towards the practical knowledge instead of theoretical.
- College is also having smart classrooms,Library,Computer lab college also provides industrial visit also with 5 Days class (Mon-Fri)
Dislikes
- Need more upgradation in learn new skill like sports, music, dance etc
- There is need of basic Library in hostel for night study for students.
Admission:
Admission is directly or through counseling JEE exam conducted by NTA. Further admission process is Done by college, application form can be found from registration desk of college. NTA conduct 2 times JEE mains and 1 time JEE advance in each year. No such improvement required in admission process.

The minimum mark required for B. Tech courses is 45% marks. 5% marks relaxation is given to the reserved category students. Admission will be done through the entrance examination conducted at the university.
The registration has been started and forms are available on the official website. You are required to fill out the forms by July 15, 2022. The examination will be conducted in September 2022. Download the admit card 5 days before the exam.
