Greater Noida Institute of Technology, also known as GNIOT became operational in 2001 under Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University. Developed by Shri Ram Educational Trust, the institute is AICTE approved. Applicants seeking admission in the institute can select any of the courses from M.Tech, MBA and MCA. Admission to all the courses is done through CUET PG counselling based on the score obtained in the CUET PG exam. BTech courses admissions are based on JEE Mains score followed by UPTAC Counselling.
The placement cell offers training, placement drives and internship opportunities with over 300 recruiters on board. Some of the top companies include Accenture, Genpact, Godrej, Reliance and Infosys. The average salary package offered is 3-4 lakhs per annum.

GNIOT B.Tech Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with any of the optional subject Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject.
- Also, they must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in 10+2.

- For B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates must have passed Engineering Diploma in a relevant discipline (except Agriculture Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Architecture) with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
- Those who have passed B.Sc and class 12th with Mathematics securing 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST) are also eligible to apply.

There are 4 specializations in the M.Tech course viz Mechanical engineering, VLSI Design, Computer Science and Civil Engineering. The intake of each specialization is 18.
GNIOT M.Tech Eligibility
- A candidate must have passed B.Tech in relevant branch with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved category)
- Candidates with a degree of MCA and M.Sc. in relevant stream are also eligible.
- Candidates not having Mathematics at 10+2 level are required to qualify a non-credit course on Mathematics of Intermediate level in the first semester of M.Tech Program
NOTE - Those who have a valid score of GPAT/GATE in the desired branch shall be given due weightage.

GNIOT MBA and MCA Eligibility
A candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent recognized by AIU with at least 50% (45% for reserved category) marks.
NOTE - In case of MCA, candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level.

GNIOT Selection Procedure
The selection procedure for all courses is common as Greater Noida Institute of Technology considers the valid entrance score followed by UPTAC Counselling. The entire selection process is mentioned in the following points:
- At first, students need to register for the UPTAC counselling.

- I liked the less pressure on students for attendance at that time.
- The teaching of some teachers as they are almost same in every college who keep just switching to one another.
Dislikes
- Placements were less for our batch it was around 10 percent only.
- There is no mass hiring in our college like tcs, cognizant these don't visit

I applied to grapic era hill and Niet, iimt other than it ,I found the geu hill not to be worth it according to fees and Niet was not providing CSE, IIMT was not good in placement so I chose it, This college has direct admission with not much eligibility just 60 per cent would be enough in the 12th

- Professors are very good. They always help in any kind of stydy help
- The workshop lab is the best as it provide how machinery works
Dislikes
- Some classes only have 1 air Conditioner but most of the class have 2-3 AC's
- There is Construction work going in some places so it distubs our movement but bot intrupt in studies
Admission:
I choose college GNIOT for its strong academic reptition in the specific program I was interestted in Btech. The admission process was smooth it has like 9 to 10 steps to do mostly of like a document verification antibulling forms another stuff to get it machines you just need to qualify cuet JEE mains and if you want to get a direct admission you should get above 75 to 80% in PCM

- The girls boys ratio is very low there are larger no. Of boys
- Infrastructure is poor Waal Is broken and not properly abled..
Admission:
Our college have high level of experience in case of studies and it provides ability to make students success and being placed in well companies which provides us knowledge ideas and thoughts which help us to become a good educated

- No ragging campus, students are average well behaved.
- Computer labs are well developed and AC library for free internet access and to study from books. Canteen available for average good quality food.
Dislikes
- You've to wear uniform some days. but it's opinional, only few weeks at start of semmester they ask for it.
- Sometimes they do drama over attendance, also very less holidays.
Admission:
Fee structure was good enough at the year of my admission comparatively to all other engineering colleges in India or Greater Noida. + they were the only ones providing specialization in CS(AI-ML). so, I choose this college.

- Well maintained labs, grounds, libraries, etc.
Admission:
I had taken admission in direct mode on management quota seat. I did not give any entrance examination. So I directly went to the college and there in the outreach cell they explained me about their institute and course curriculum.
Likes
- Teachers are good enough. They hel6you during weekend if you have any doubts or you are weak in any topic or subjects. The Lab facilities and library facilities are pretty decent. The study environment is also nice for students.
- The campus area is good but the canteens are pretty average here. If we talk about sports then we uave basketball court and football ground which is good in condition most of the time. We have seniors who are good enough to guide us.
Dislikes
- The hostel facility provided by the college is not so good . Students always suffer from food facilities and other hostel facilities. The warden is good eveb though our problems take loke forever to be solved.
- There are many restrictions like you can't play music in the corridors, you can't go to terrace and many more. If you are late due to any emergency situation even though if you inform the warden right away he doesn't co-operate with you at all.
Admission:
For eligibility criteria You should atleast have a score of 75% from PCM. If you are taking direct admission then there is an online test of 30 marks ehich you have to clear with atleast 15 marks. Depending upon the marks you scored you will get the course you deserved. If you want to take admission through entrance exam then you can take admission through JEE and UPCET. For admission you need to score atleast 80 percentile to 85 percentile. The online exam is of half an hour with an average difficulty level which is pretty decent for students who want to take admission

- Here teachers were very friendly and supportive and the most important thing is that they make sure that every student are understand what they are teaching
- In our college every complain listen by our dean and they make sure that the problem will short out
Dislikes
- Desk and benchs were not in a good condition
- Some of the students were not behave well in a college and i think there should be strict rule for these kind of students who do hooting and shouting
Admission:
For cse you should have 70% in 12th board in pcm. And for admission you can directly visit college and ask for a admission they will take a test to know your ability and if you qualify the test you will get admission. And some of the seats were reserved for jee and cuet student

Eligibility criteria in this college for btech is nothing you only have to pass your 12th examination and you can directly take admission in this college and admission fee is 1000rs for the form and you should deposit half of the fee at the admission time.

- The faculty member because the faculty of my course is very educated and motivating
- the campus life is very nice and safe as the college follow the ragging free policies

- The hostel of the college is very much unsatisfied as the fee is pretty unfair and expensive
- the staff of the hostel is pretty much hostile as the warden have drinking problems

The admission process is very simple as for the direct adimission there have to exams or GD/PI and for the compititive examination student the criteria changed every year according to the average score

The minimum mark required for B. Tech courses is 45% marks. 5% marks relaxation is given to the reserved category students. Admission will be done through the entrance examination conducted at the university.
The registration has been started and forms are available on the official website. You are required to fill out the forms by July 15, 2022. The examination will be conducted in September 2022. Download the admit card 5 days before the exam.
