- Must have passed a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 in any four subjects with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- 6% relaxation is given to OBC candidates.
- 5% relaxation is given to PH candidates.

CIC New Delhi B.Tech Course Details
CIC New Delhi offers a full-time B.Tech program in 1 discipline i.e. mathematical Innovations and Information Technology for the duration of 4 years.
Prescribed Coursework
The B.Tech course of CIC New Delhi is designed in an interactive learning mode. The 4-year course is divided into 8 semesters. It can extend up to a span period of 6 years.
- A paper having 6 credits has two components: Theory and laboratory work of 3 credits each. Papers having a total of 3/4 credits do not include laboratory work.
- The first and second semester of the B.Tech program consists of basic courses. In the third and fourth semesters, the B.Tech courses consist of specialization streams, 2 streams in each.
- The fourth semester will also have an innovation project.
- The fifth semester will also constitute 2 specialization streams and 1 industrial mini project of 6 credits.
- The sixth semester will have 2 specialization streams and one project in Industry, society, and villages.
- In the 7th semester, the coursework will have 2 specialization streams and an Industrial mini-project consisting of simulation of real-time cases.
- The 8th semester constitutes an Industry Internship or Major Project of 32 credits. During the 7th semesters, the students will decide the field of work and the organization for execution of the Industrial Internship.

Evaluation: B.Tech students will be continuously assessed based on class tests, seminars, assignments, presentations, projects, etc. Evaluation and Review community (ERC) will evaluate the students’ performance.
Award of Degree: Students will be awarded B.Tech or B.Tech Dual degree on successful completion of all the courses, specialized courses, mini and big projects, and lab projects.

- There have a great teacher and they behaviour is so good
- I have liked faculty members here, they are very supportive and their knowledge is also very good.

- That there are no clubs of any sorts no sports ,no music that's just boring.
- The low student intake can sometimes be a problem due to lack of manpower during events which demand labour on the side of the organisers, thus, limiting the extent to which they can be expanded.

I was influenced by my school that the delhi university is very famous and the faculty is very good so I joined delhi university and the exams are like semester wise in every 6 months. In one year there are two semesters and two exams. The level of exam is not so hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is really very good, its updated and far better than even many renowned institutes. Along with your core CS subjects, there is also a minor stream which you'll have to select. The minor streams that they offer are Management, Computational Biology and Electronics. Students can enroll in any one based upon their preferences.

I chose the course because it had a reputable image, the fees is very low and it had the DU mark. The faculty is nice and helpful but ,the student is less since only arround 50 students can take admission every year

I choose this course because my big brother wants me to do the B.Tech and I also want to do the B.Tech. The faculty student ratio is 1:10 (roughly). The faculty is pretty well qualified, most of are PhD holders, so faculty is quite good. The teaching method is also good as the main focus is on the practical knowledge. The exams are only End-Sem exam, there is no mid-sem exam and to pass them, that's no the big task

I choose this course as I want to be an engineer there is no other reason for this. I am very clear about this. The faculty student ratio is 1:10. The faculty is very good, supportive in every manner. The quality of education, they provide us also very good. In one semester there is only end sem exam, no mid sem exam. But there is continuous evaluation system in which you are evaluated throughout the year but that's not any major problem. And to pass end sem exam is not very big task. If you give focus on ongoing classes, it's sufficient for you.

Because it have high package,demand and vast carrier option Faculty is amazing . Some are iit graduates. And other ohd holders Exams are held timely according Delhi University. Two semesters per year and total 8 semester Exams are not that difficult you can pass the exam easily because half marks are given in practicals.
