JIS School of polytechnic is one of the best polytechnic college in West Bengal.
The facilities of this college is so friendly. They are very helpful if there is any problem, be it from my own department or from other department.

Dislikes

And the canteen of our college campus has been closed for a long time. It would have benefited many boys if it was introduced

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the branch mechanical engineering cause I love make machines from my childhood so that's why I choose this branch and Mechanical engineering is the mother branch of engineering that's why I choose. We have a mechanical workshop where we see industrial machines like lathe machine milling machine drilling machines. The examination is very easy if you know how to prepare your syllabus and the diploma exam is not so tough. So you can have much time to prepare for your examination like 5 month.

The main thing I like is that the college sir and teachers are very friendly. Along with their academic classes, they do many non-academic activities that are essential for students.
Our workshop which is mechanical, we have many machines which may not be in diploma level in many colleges. We have done a lot of industrial work and know how to operate machines.

Dislikes

It was found that having many students in a branch meant that those who had no interest could not learn anything. has fallen behind.
And sometimes many classes are off for non-academic activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the branch as you know mechanical engineering is a mother branch of engineering. And I choose this college because it was the top polytechnic college in West Bengal. And I was very interested in how machine learning, how the machine works. And they teach how a machine actually runs in industry. What I can suggest is that there are some areas that need improvement, For example, some machines in our workshop are broken, so it is better to fix them. And the diploma level exam is not that tough, a little better if the academic exam means to complete the syllabus then you can pass with good marks. But we have the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, many times they have been seen to have done the exam first after Corona, like we have an exam with a gap of three months in our time, so there were some difficulties at that time

Most diploma courses have practical applications and train students to have hands-on experience in the latest skills and technologies. Diploma courses focus on building skills that are relevant to the industry and would be helpful in their career. Here faculty is very good it is helpful to students, and they were ready to help whenever it is required 8:5. Qualification of the faculty is excellent, the best teacher is available in this college with high qualification and teaching method is quite good with both English, Bengali and Hindi language. Exams are held after every six months

The reason I chose this course was that I wanted to be a better engineer in the future. Mechanical Engineer is one of the most important places in Mother trade. Our teachers and staff are very helpful.
