One last time college participates in a national wise technical fest with the civil engineering department and wins first prize for making a water treatment plant.
Here faculty is very good it is helpful to students, and they were ready to help whenever it is required 8:5.
Qualification of the faculty is excellent, the best teacher is available in this college with high qualification and teaching method is quite good with both english, bengali and hindi language.

Dislikes

Some times it has been observed that classes are held from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm which makes many students tired.
Moreover, after we had done one time, the examination time was very close, there was a gap of three months between two semester, we had some problems to give the exam in that time.
It was found that having many students in a branch meant that those who had no interest could not learn anything. has fallen behind.

JIS School of polytechnic is one of the best polytechnic college in West Bengal.
In academics and non-academic this college is very advanced.
College campus workshop everything is very organized and very beautiful and they explained all the things very easily

Dislikes

And the canteen of our college campus has been closed for a long time. It would have benefited many boys if it was introduced

You can get admission through direct management or also by an entrance examination called JEXPO. You can easily rank in examination to get admission in this college. If you are from West Bengal then it is very easy for you to get an admission after 10th. Or after 12 science you can get voclet entry.

Our college takes us on many industrial visits every year which is very important for an engineer to know how an industry runs.
Our workshop which is mechanical, we have many machines which may not be in diploma level in many colleges. We have done a lot of industrial work and know how to operate machines.

Admission:

You need to passout your 10th examination with a good percentage. Your course duration is 3 years. Also you can take addmission after 12th with Science. Then the course duration is 2 years. This is called voclet addmission. You can get addmission through official website of JIS School Of Polytechnic. Or an entrance exam called JELET in west bengal. There are two semester in a year. You can easily get good marks with the basic knowledge of your syllabus.

I take admission through direct college. Based on class XII. Passed 10th standard from any recognized Board/Institute with at least 35% marks in Aggregate Subject to providing of original mark sheet/pass certificate at the time of admission.

Candidates must have a valid score on the JEXPO Exam, and without JEXPO, students can apply for Direct admission. Candidate must have passed the 10th Standard student qualified with a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate. The fee for the electrical engineering is INR 43,000, and 2^nd and 3^rd year is INR 28,000
