- The student needs to pass the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic(Jexpo) conducted by West Bengal State Council for Technical Education. Counseling will be conducted by the Authority for selection.
- Students get direct admission as per the rules and regulation of the college authority who obtains
- Date of Birth should not be after 01.01.1998
- Valid Jexpo 2013 Rank with 35% Marks (with Additional Subject in 10th Standard
- Or passed 10th Standard with 40% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in Physical Sci & Math taken together.
- As per the candidates in the Secondary / Madhyamik examination and as per the merit list prepared by the WBSCTVESD.
- VOCLET Rank Holders can take Admission ( As per State Govt. Norms) in 2nd Year 3rd Semester.

Library: The college has an enormous library housing a total of 32,000+ books. There are a total 39,719 textbooks, 24 Journals, 375 e-books and other study materials. There is also a digital library facility for students. The library can accommodate 120 students.
Transport: The institute provides bus and car service for the students, making it convenient for students to travel to the college campus. Bus service is available for students at free of cost..
Cafeteria: The Institute has its own different Canteen where a healthy and hygienic food facility is provided. The seat capacity of the cafeteria is around 200.
Workshops: The college has well-established workshops for the students, helping them acquire the practical knowledge required. The workshops help the students to prepare themselves for future jobs and studies.
Laboratories: The campus has different well-equipped laboratories established for all the different streams, to aid their needs. The students perform all the practicals and experiments in these laboratories.

The institute provides various scholarships for the students, like-
- Swami Vivekananda Scholarship: This scholarship is formally known as the ‘Merit cum Means’ scholarship provided by the West Bengal state govt. Students who passed their last examination with at least 75% marks are eligible for this scholarship.
- LIC India Scholarship Scheme: Post matric scholarships are awarded to the students who passed the examination with at least 60% marks and having an annual family income less than 1 Lakh..
- Chief Minister Relief Fund Scholarship: West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund provides this scholarship to economically weaker students who scored more than 60% marks in the last examination and also has an annual family income less than 60,000/-.
- Post Matric Scholarship (for Minority Students): This scholarship is awarded by the West Bengal Minority development authority to the Minority students who score at least 55% marks in the last final examination.

The admission was through the JEXPO examination. You need to rank a minimum of 10000 ranks in the JEXPO examination. JEXPO examination form can be filled up online. It has 500rs fees. But it needs to be submitted to the nearest engineering college.

If you want to join through counselling you have to appear on the JEXPO exam and getting a rank between 35000 but it is a private college so you may be joined through direct means management quota through. Only one requirement is you have to get a minimum of 45% marks in science in class 10th exam. The admission process is simple.

After getting a valid rank in JEXPO I was trying for counselling and from there I got to this college. After that, a stipulated date was there when I had to submit my all documents for physical verification and payment of 1st fees and other extra charges for dress, library and caution money. If anyone wants to join this college for the diploma they have to get a valid rank and minimum of 45% marks in 10th exam, if you have 12th then it's better also. If you do not have a valid rank then you may join via management quota and for that, you have to pay some extra amount per semester.
