My college Experience

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of my college
I liked the exposure which i got from the college
I liked how professors approached students in every field

Dislikes

I don't liked that it took us more than 3.5 years to complete the college.
There was no proper uniform for the college.
Another thing i don't liked is college gate used to be opened all the time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There was one reason i got influenced by one of my senior who told me to join this collage. They didn't inspired us to make further education because of affordability of city. Frequency of the exams were constant. And level was moderate as per college student.

i really liked the campus of the college.
and really liked the playground of the college.
and also the students of this particular college.

Dislikes

i disliked the administration of the college.
there is always lack of faculty in the college.
teachers are humble and supportive but their are only few available.

Actually i am really passionate about mathematics and the statistics fasinated me too, and i want to be a data scientist that is why i opted statistics but after joining the college i got to know that i took admission in a wrong college.

The aspects of college which I like was discipline
I was fully engaged with with campus activities and was much social
Somehow teaching was good but at the same time there was lack of quality mentorship

Dislikes

The things which I really dialled was college management
There was no other opportunities like campus placements
There was lack of college co curriculum activities for our course students

The decesion for choosing the course was job oriented because my Farther influenced me for that for long time the frequency and time of exams was very bad because we got to know our exam calender only few days before the examination Teaching methods should be improved and they should implement new technologies in their course unlike c and c++

Read Before Joining S.p College Srinagar.

Likes

College has a newly constructed classroom building of 5 -6 floors equiped with smartboards & new infrastructure.
Teachers are very cooperative & friendly with students
College has a great environment & far away from highway making it less noisy from traffic noise.

Dislikes

College has a very small campus size & no one is talking about that
College does not care about hostellers for instance we were drinking unpurified water from last year
Not clean drinking water for students, tastes sandy when you drink it no purifier

Course Curriculum Overview:

Information technology was my interest based course that I opted in.. but when I saw the course syllabus it was old & theoretical based, lacks new & fresh syllabus would not guarantee job. Course could be better if newly updated syllabus would be include. Despite having smartboards no one is teaching on them or talking about using them.. Exams & syllabus Easy because of old curriculam

Teachers they are vey intelligent and hardworker
Library is one of the best because you'll found every book there
College campus is quite beautiful with chinar trees everywhere sports faculty is also available like table tennis cricket basketball volleyball football

Dislikes

Maintaining 75% attendance in each subject is too hard
Canteen facility is not that good need to improve that atleast one nescafe is must
Library timings need to change it's 10 to 4 but for hostel students it must be 10 to 8

Well biotechnology is moreover a practical subject and i like the subject which is morever focused on practical life and it's one of the best subject for research. Actually biotechnology is all about real life world like dna rna human genetics everywhere Improvements are needed in some lab area Exams are conducted on time after completion of syllabus

The faculty in our college was very good.
There teaching methods were top most and they had high mentorship quality
The infrastructure was also good including sports section of our college

The equipments in our labs are very old .

As my course was bsc honors in physics . I choose this course because i love physics thats why i choose this course the areas of improvement were the labs in our college they were bit old fashioned and needed to be renewed. The frequency and timing of exams matches perfectly

Hostel is too clean with great food available of your choice
In Canteen the prices of food items is extremely cheap and regulated all the time
Not much issue of attending classes you unlike other collegees

Dislikes

Teachers are mostly contractual so that can be an issue sometimes
Washrooms are noth that great, pretty usable but could be better

A real review about my college.

Likes

Campus is great and rules and regulations are better than any other college of kashmir.
Sports section provides opportunities for the talented players.
Staff is helping and cheerful. Labs are completely ready with internet facilities.

Dislikes

Scarcity of clean drinking water, sitting space in canteen area is much less.
Contractual based professors are unbelievably boring.
The mandatory rule of 75% attendance is not at all good.

Likes

The university infrastructure and labs are too good.
The university fee. Alomst everyone can afford it

The transport facility is not available in our college.
