I applied in in the Government engineering colleges only and I cut conferred admission in this college. I choose this college over the others because I got the confirm admission in it. And if I tell about the admission process of this college, then I have to say this is a Government engineering College which is affiliated to AICTE and students can take admission through WBJEE counseling only and for these students have to qualify the wbt exam and have to secure a particular rank to get admission

Admission:

The main reason students come to this college is because of the fact that fees are affordable and also this is purely government college. Admission process is quite easy you need all the necessary documents (Aadhar, Pan, etc) along with your WBJEE scorecard and rankcard. Other important fact to mention is that only students who are permanent resident of West Bengal can seek for admission. You need a domicile certificate for that.

it has a study room for the students to study.

located in a too remote area hence problem with transportation.

Admission:

I applied for many other colleges like Jadavpur university, IEM but wasn't able to make ther with my rank and financial instability. I opted for RKMGEC because it offered a compeling mix of quality education,easy faculty and lowe tuition fees. The eligibility was based on west bengal joint entrance examination (WBJEE) scores with specific cutoffs which vary every year. I face rejection from a couple of other top tier colleges primarily due to high competition and slightly lower intense exams scores. The strong industry connections and practical oriented curriculum made it the best fit for my career aspirations.

The faculties are really helpful and friendly which makes the realation between teachers and students healthy .
The placements in terms of return of investment is not bad.
College rules are very strict regarding ragging and anti ragging committee has been made for that.

Dislikes

On campus placements in terms of digits is terrible,
Lab facilities needs to be improved in order to make students knowledgeable with the practical field.
Security needs to be improved in hostel.

Admission:

Because i was not getting any better college with the rank I had. No, i didn't get any rejection from another college. WBJEE exam is the way to get entered in this college , then counseling process is being held in order to filter the students with their respective rank and category.
