Total cost per semester is 4500/- INR on an avg, including hostel fees and all academic costs (excluding canteen charges) So basically it is very very affordable, avg being less than one thousand per month, and it pays you back almost Rs 30,000/- per month during your internship for 12 months,so net cost in negative actually. One can avail all the state and central Govt. or provate scholarships while studying in this college. During internship (5th year) of MBBS,you get stipend of around 30,000/- INR per month.
The term fee is 40000 per year, this is for a government college fee private college fees may be much higher than this We do get a scholarship of 60000 for the first year and we get a 2000 monthly amount for a six-month internship.
We have a very low fees structure as per a government medical College. We give fees per semester of 4572 rupees with hostel fees as low as 50 rupees per month. The opportunities regarding scholarships are maintained as per govt policy. The student administration section is very cooperative regarding this. I am still a final year student and currently on no such scholarship due to my well-to-do family background. But I have seen getting these facilities to my seniors, batchmate and juniors who are in acute need of this help.
I have applied for aikyahsree scholarship which is a west bengal government initiative. and it pays around 30 thousand rupees to every eligible students every year.
We get scholarship but only one but we don't do anything with a single scholarship.i want more scholarship al least two so i can manage my life. But we have loan system but to get this loan we have to don more difficult way.
Actually you don't need huge scholarship to study here,as it's a government medical college, and fee structure is very feasible. Still one can avail government provided scholarship as per eligibility criteria.
No I didn't have availed any scholarship from any central or state authorities. As the college is a govt one it doesn't also give any type of scholarships.Central or state govt have many scholarships but they are not college oriented.
ONGC scholarship for sc,st . Basically for the economically weaker section.moreover there is many more scholarship program organised by government or private bodies.though there is no such scholarship program organised by the college
