I have not taken any help from the CRC as of now in looking for internships. However, the CRC does offer internships with renowned firms, NGOs, etc. some of them are Nanavati, CAM ahmedabad l, spinning wheel, etc.
In the later years, one does get to intern with prestigious companies like Khaitan and co. And amarchand mangaldas. However, it is important to perform well academically and actively seek opportunities.
Students are free to choose where they want to intern, the institute provides with necessary guidance, noc, and reference letter. Also, the institute provides internship opportunities and keeps the students updated with various internship opportunities via mail, etc.
The campus recruitment cell or CRC of the college manages the placements. Several law firms come to college annually. The average package is rs. 80,000-1,00,000. A great number of students also pursue LLM in USA or UK.
Students become eligible for Campus Placements from their 9th semester. However, all students can get instrumental help in securing internships through CRC. Students are well trained for recruitments which is followed by interviews from leading law firms, and corporates.
I am currently in my 5th year & as of now, I have done more than 8 internships. I have done an internship at CEERA, NLS; NGO; Centre for Policy Research; ALG; Supreme Court. All the internships have given me a great learning experience.
The college has visitings from firms like Amarchand Mangaldas, Sintex Group, Joyce Law Group, Nishith Desai Associates etc.
They are good, many of the alumni are placed in the most reputed legal firms, many have cleared the Judicial services exams and many are gone for social work and litigation and are placed in various High courts.
Placement is average in my college. I would assess 7 out of 10 for placements. some companies do visit our campus like Legalogic, Amlegals, Sintex company, Amarchand mangaldas etc. Only 10% of the students placed through campus placement. Yes, institute does take many special sessions to prepare the students for placements like inviting experts from outside, cv vetting and drafting session etc. I have availed many internship. All on my efforts only like HSA advocates, Amarchand Mangaldas, Samvad Partners etc.
I have availed many internship. All on my efforts only like HSA advocates, Amarchand Mangaldas, Samvad Partners etc. Amarchand gives 12 k per month, HSA gives 4k per month, samvad doesn't give stipend.
