when i found out about this course i was skeptical but on researching a lot about it i found that there are many kinds of scopes in this n they are only going to increase with the time as food tech is a nvr ending field so i opt for this course n i am still researching abt it well currently I'm in 1st yr so i can't really anwer on the education basis but there is industrial visit time to time which makes us understand how they work at industry level and the practicals are intresting so we get to learn a lot areas for improvement i wd say the type of equipments we use; not to focus on cooking but more on industrial terms(they do focus on the industry but the practicals in the 1st yr seemed more twds cooking i hope they get better overtime) exam curriculum is okay they are not too tough u jst have to listen in class n read the books asked by ur faculty n u shd be scoring desently..talking about exam time, it is also sufficient as most of the exams(esp the core subs) are not lengthy
I chose this course as this is one of the courses are college excels at offering, secondly, this is a girls' college wherein you'll find a safe and secure environment to learn and grow. The faculty of this college is exceptionally well. They are very interactive and clear all the doubts. In total, this college will provide you with numerous opportunities to learn and grow under the guidance of eloquent faculty who will always lead you in the right direction.
I was very fond of Food Science and technology, it's a potential emerging field. The field is very good and a great applied Sciences course for the future. The faculty is having a great experience, all the faculty members are from top reputed institutions. All faculty members are very well qualified and supportive. Faculty members are mostly MSc and Ph.D. The exams were good and a student can easily pass if she has studied properly.
B.Sc in Food Technology is a good course for students who are more interested in understanding the theoretical concepts of food science and technology. Faculty is very good and supportive. Semester-wise exams are held in our college. Exams are not too tough if you study 2 3 days before the exam you can score good marks.
I choose this course as since childhood I was keen on food technology. It is a very unique and demanding course. It is a 3-year course. The faculty is very helpful and helps in getting placed for the internship.
I found this course very interesting and I have had a keen interest in Food Science since my childhood. The faculty has 12 Professors including HOD and lab assistants. Students were 40 at maximum. All the teachers were well qualified from prestigious universities and mostly are Ph.D. Their teaching method is very good and easy to understand, application-based learning.
The faculty is very nice. All teachers have good knowledge and their way of teaching is admirable. Notes are shared on the regular basis. The student ratio is around 36 - 39 in each year batch. Exams are held at the end of every semester and they are not so easy to pass. I choose this course because I wanted to work in the quality department of food companies as a quality checker.
This course provides greater opportunity in the future prospective. Faculty: student ratio is perfect every student got proper attention from the faculty on one to one basis. The faculty is well qualified they all have got P.hd and are best in their respective fields. The teaching method was really interesting. The term exams always happen on time in May and December. You can easily pass the exam if you have attended class properly.
It's one of the best institutes in India for pursuing a B.Sc Hons. Food Technology with the best faculty you have ever seen. All the professors are well qualified and with immense knowledge and experience. They take care of everything from the personal issues to the academic problems of every student.
