My fee structure at Gauhati Commerce College is broken down year wise. First time admission fees was ?6500. In the first year I paid Admission Fee of ?700. With ?500 being late fees. Centre and exam fee being ?500. For subsequent semesters the fee structure was same with no significant change in amount. Reduction in fee was available to candidates belonging to marginalised sections of society which was to be availed on presenting income statement of family or othe relevant certificates, as per college policy each semester.

The year-wise fee is 8000. The other fees such as tuition fees, caution fees, development fees, etc. are included but the registration and admission fees are 6000. The fees for ST, SC, and EWS categories is comparatively less than 6000. The general category is paying 6000 per semester and ST, SC, and EWS are paying a lesser amount. Till date, we have the scholarship of Pragyan Bharti and a scholarship for the 12th pass girls and UGC pursuing girls to receive 1200 per month

Gauhati Commerce College is one of the most prestigious college of Assam. It has been accredited with B++ Grade by NAAC. It provides education at higher secondary level, graduate level and post graduate level. The college has been rapidly growing with over 3000+ students. The professors here very welcoming except some but being welcoming isn't enough. It feels like they are being forced to teach. They just teach using just a powerpoint presentation. Sometimes they are too moody to teach so they just give attendance and leave. This should be worked upon. The fees structure is here quite reasonable compared to other collegers I belonged to OBC category so i paid less than the general category students. My genral category batchmates paid almost 5-6k per sem whereas i paid only 700-800 per sem. Scholarship is also given to SC/ST students

To be honest, the fee is too much, compared to the perks the degree gives. It could be lower than what it costs. The whole degree would cost you like 1.2 lakh (quite a lot). The placement isn't that great, don't expect much, but you will get opportunities though. Join internships on your own through job search apps, and maintain a set of skills.
