The scheme i was studying was 2018 scheme under VTU. I choose the CSE course because it was my interest and also its booming. Curriculum was not according to current market trend so it doesn't help much to be prepare fro real worls applications. Improvements to be done in curriculum and should teack technologies that are used currently in the real world industry. They used to take 3 Internal exams and 1 final exam.
I was very interested in programming and all. And in my previous classes, I have also completed computer programming courses. The many faculties on the campus are enough to maintain the students. The faculties are very resourceful and they are well qualified. There is no lack of knowledge with the many of the faculties. The exams and tests are conducted very. Frequently many of the faculties conduct individual subject tests.
I chose this course because I wanted to be a software engineer. The faculties are good and there are associate professors, assistant professors and doctorates as well. The best part was even HOD takes classes. We had sem wise exams I mean 2 exams in a year. And each sem we had 3 internal assessments. Passing is easy if you read .
It's costly for Management seat. But it's low for Government seat. They provided scholorships under Vidyasiri scholorship. It was a good amount. There were good companies for campus, so many seniors got job from campus.
I have opted electronics and communication engineering as my course. I have admitted to this course because I love working with the circuits. and is the only special course in which further you can do software jobs or hardware which you want.. so I took this course ... Coming to talk about faculty , they were amazing. Friendly nature . Faculty qualification is some of them are PhD holders and others are msc , BE or any other double degree holders. There teaching methods is really good for some topics they teach practically and use ppts presentation and on board teaching... really good.. Exams will appear for once in 6 months, semester examinations. And as electronics and communication engineering student I suggest you all from myself that if you are really good in circuits and programming than it is really good but for some who are intermediate in knowledge of circuits, equations and programming .than it will be little tough. Although I want to say you that " Hardwork is key to success"
Everything is under vtu.
Fee Structure is good. certain amount is fixed for tution fee, placement fee, bus fee, hostel fee and etc. Some of the students with below average income and with poor people ther are going to reduce some of the fee, in a very special case they will made it free of cost. Our management says education is not a business, so they do this good job.
