- MAIMS is inviting applications for PhD Admission 2024-2025 (Winter Session). The last date to apply is Nov 30, 2024 and the entrance test is scheduled for Dec 22, 2024. Further, candidates seeking admission to PhD program at University School of Environment Management and wish to claim exemption from PhD Entrance Test (PET) must submit the application for the same along with the relevant documents at USEM Office on or before Dec 5, 2024.
Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) was established in 2003 in New Delhi. It is an initiative of Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society. The Institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and is regulated by its norms. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies offers Bachelor’s Courses in B.Com. (Honors), B.A. (Economics Honors), BBA, BJMC, BBA LLB and B.A. + LL.B.
- Candidates may apply for admission to various courses online through an application form available at the GGSIP University official website.
- Applicants to B.Com., BBA. B.A., BJMC, BBA LLB and B.A. + LL.B. courses must have passed the 10+2 examination.
- Candidates applying for UG programs need to appear for University level IPU-CET entrance exam to be eligible for admission to the courses.
- The entrance exam qualified candidates will have to register for admission to MAIMS separately.
- At the time of admission, candidates will get relaxation of 5% marks in qualifying examination marks.
- Final selection will be based on the counselling process conducted by the Institute.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies UG Admission 2024
Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies offers 3-year full-time courses which are as follows:

MAIMS New Delhi UG Eligibility:
The minimum eligibility to apply for any of these courses is having passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
MAIMS New Delhi UG Selection Process:
Selection to all the undergraduate courses is based on the university level entrance exam (IPU-CET). Candidates can apply only based on the entrance exam results. There is also a direct entry for UG courses under management quota.
Key points:
- The minimum age limit to apply for the courses is 17-year and the maximum age limit is 21-year.
- Institute reserves 10% seats for the management quota candidates and 27% seats for the Delhi OBC category candidates.
How to Apply for MAIMS New Delhi?
Eligible candidates seeking to apply for UG programs offered by the MAIMS will have to fill an online application form for admissions. The application process is common to the courses offered as follows:
- Visit the official website of GGSIP University to register for the entrance exam for admission.
- Duly fill the application form and add the necessary details.
- The cost of application form is INR 1000 which can only be remitted online.
- Candidates will be required to appear in IPU-CET on a given date.
- Admit card can be downloaded from the official website.
- Upon declaration of result and merit list, applicants may apply for admission to Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for further admission process consisting of physical counselling.
- Candidates will be required to visit the institute for document verification and for the payment of tuition-fee.

Admission:
I chose this college as it's one of the best colleges in Delhi NCR region and also good in the field that iam pursuing, during my admission process I also applied for another college but after comparing both the colleges in different parameters like faculty, infrastructure, course curriculum etc. this college was the one I decided to opt for .
Likes
- This is afflicted college have its own campus and it actually feels different from other ipu colleges .
- There are many societies working independently which you can enroll for other activities.
Dislikes
- The teachers have no experience in teaching , and no expertise
- In law , there's a fake placement cell which is of zero value
Admission:
Basically I have applied for this college because I live in Delhi only and I want to pursue my father studies from Delhi only. Moreover the various high courts district courts and supreme courts are here present in Delhi only so for the internship and other activities delhi is the best place to purse you law as a subject

- Both shifts of college shift 1 and shift 2 are start on same time in the morning
- Campus is not too big and too small you can connect people by joining societes
Dislikes
- The time table is not good classes in second year were start from 8 30 am to 3 20 pm
- Campus is good but there is only 4 canteen and neither has aur conditioning

I have choosen thius college becausce its the ine of the best college in the IPUniversity. in comparisons of other colleges it is much beter becausce in this college there are more opportunities this college has diffrent socities of finance, comerce, entreprenurship etc. The eligiblity to get addmission in this college is firstly you have to give IPU CET which is a entrance test you need to come under 3000 rank to get addmission in this college.

- I really liked how big and welcoming the campus was with people always ready to help you there and they’re generally very open and friendly
- The attention to the environment as my college has it’s own green belt and it looks very decent with all the trees and plants it’s a nice place to walk
Dislikes
- A minority of faculty is usually arrogant and would not help you with trouble as much
- The distance and the area the college is located is really in the middle of nowhere
Admission:
Before MAIMS i was in rukmini devi (RDIAS) pitampura IPU and it was such a small college it almost felt like a school where you had to be in certain places at a certain given time and it was very strict and not a free working environment. That's why i opted for MAIMS in the spot round 2 of my councilling and got it. You just have to fill a form and show the bill receipt to the faculty members that are assigned for the admission work and i was enrolled. It was so easy i did it on my own
Likes
- First thing first and that being academics, it is one of the best in Maims, if compared with its peers like VIPS or Surajmal.
- The area is big and has all the bases covered that are required in a student journey.
Dislikes
- The nearest metro station from our college is Rohini and that too is some 4 miles, so unless one has their own vehicle commuting becomes tough.
Admission:
VIPS and MAIMS, I just had these two colleges in my mind. I have CLAT but only if I would have made it to the top 5 NLUs, I would have left my city but since I couldn't, I joined the college where I always wanted to be. Yes, i couldn't make it make it to top NLUs as my rank was below 10k and also since I am from general category I was getting admissions in lesser known NLUs. CLAT score is considered in MAIMS too and my score was good enough to secure a seat for me here.

- The campus area is so big and clean its really progressive their are alot of space to play different kinds of games different areas are specifically designed for some outdoor and indoor sports
- The faculty is this campus is really very friendly and helpful you can contact them at any point of life
Dislikes
- Lift sometimes don't work properly but it is also corrected very quickly
Admission:
This college has the best things I believe not the campus or the infrastructure but the crowd the facilities the faculty as well is very good The admission process it based on the counselling sessions conducted by the GGSIPU Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University only The Clat ranking is needed for the admission in this college

- Faculty is very good and is apprecianle for the same, opportunities for internships and placements need to be improved.
- Campus Life is very fun, on a daily basis some of the programme is getting conducted and it's fun to be a part.
Dislikes
- Training and placement cell needs to bring more opportunities to students
- Some of the classes are lacking with basic amenities like projectorsy

I applied in the GGSIPU UNIVERSITY, I h Got this college in counseling and as this it one of the best college in IP UNIVERSITY, i chose the same. I didn't got nlu through my clat score. To be eligible for this college you need to meet the clat cutoff score of this college

- I liked their food a lot and they prepare the food in very hygienic conditions as well as the teachers are very helpful
- The sports men ship among the coaches and students who are studying
Dislikes
- It far from the metro station the roads are very bad
- You have to take tuk tuk or auto rickshaw to come to the metro station and they charge 40 rs from the metro station for one side
Admission:
The ranking of this college is higher than other colleges I applied for and it is not so far from my home and it is my dream college I have applied for du and I got other colleges like aryabhatta as well as Motilal Nehru College but I chose this one because it provides the best education as per my preference

- Faculty is very helpful and polite .All facilities have atleast completed masters and some have also done P.hd.They provide full notes before exam which are really helpful to study only useful materials.Apart from this college campus is really spacy

- College is located in remotely area which have very less access to transports

I have choosen Maharaja Agrasen institute of management over other Ipu's colleges becouse It's campus is really big and BBaA is much better if we compare it with another colleges like VIPS and facilities are too.

- They also provide hostel facility for people who stay in other states

- Hotel facilities is only for boys and that too with high prices.
Admission:
So at first I didn't want to join Maharaja Agrasen Institute of management studies as MAIMS is in Rithala and I stay in Faridabad it is difficult for me to travel for 5 hrs. But I have to choose this as I have not filled du the college selection list correctly
