Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- Candidates who have passed PUC/ 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects either Chemistry or Biology or Electronics or Computer Science are eligible.
- He/She should have scored at least 45% of marks in the above subjects taken together.
- 40% of marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose mechanical engineering in JSSATEB because of 2 reasons: 1. I was very interested in mechanical engineering and it was the only college providing this course at the last moment 2. The mechanical engineering branch in JSSATEB is one of the best I've seen, they have a racing team where we build the car and take part in races, and overall have the best faculty and machines They have to improve on real world application, may it be in theory or practical's . They have to be updated to the real world skills. But the faculty has given us the reality check and and what's happening in mechanical industries and told us not to expect much from this industry if you want to pursue it in India. We have only 2 internals in 3 months but we want 3 internals because they take best of 2 so if we have 3 internals we'll have more time to cope up and get better internal marks.
Likes
- JSSATEB campus is peaceful, calm and less noisy. No much crowd and no commotions
- The library is large and has a wide variety of books (academic) in large volumes which can be borrowed
Dislikes
- The management doesn't provide with the required funds which makes it difficult for the core committee to find sponsors and organise a good fest
Course Curriculum Overview:
Mechanical engineering has lost its scope due to the IT boom causing most of the students to opt CSE as their branch. Mechanical according to me has its pros and due to more demand and less strength in the field excelling in the course will earn any student a good spot in the industry. The curriculum mainly focuses on the real life applications and some aspects of CSE like basic programming and Excel are also included which are required for the field. Only improvement required is the management of syllabus across the semesters. The university shouldn't fluctuate the subjects so much and make it standard throughout the course. The exams are easy if prepared, no extra material is required or asked , it's scoreable with mediocre practice.

Exams were timely,it is difficult, there are no Fastrack courses offered like autonomous, under Vtu is like now or never Mechanical Engineering is one of the core branch engineerings, as we deal with surface, water, air, vacuum it's the base of Engineering Faculty & student ratio is very adequate as our college when I first joined back in 2013, the college offered only engineering under vtu . Presently my College offers MBA courses, it's good to be in a pleasant atmosphere for a college dedicated only to engineering so yeah staffs are very adequate with plenty of infrastructures Qualification of every faculty is PhD Teaching method is very good ,
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The fee structure of our college is feasible if we opt through an entrance exam. The course fee for our branch is around 85000rs if we go through entrance exam. The same when we go through management is around 2 lakhs. Our college accepts all the modes of payment. There will be charge for blocking the seat, no other extra charges will be levied. Our college provides time for students to pay the fees in installments.
Course Curriculum Overview:
If you want to study in bangalore please take Computer Science or Information Science Engineering, so got better placement.in my college three internal is there after that external eam will held. In internal best of three is consider in internal test.

Expensive.Has compered to other colleges in Bangalore this college has more development fees costly 42k approximately every year.And CET fees is 53k per student per year. Students is to pay both the fees every year.But they will give the installments to pay the fees.
