I am paying 7640 monthly for this course I'm from general category so I'm paying quite higher than SC/ST They have scholarship opportunities like Swami Vivekananda one and merit wise also i think its reasonable

College fees is not much because it's under government and even you can avail different scholarship by that you can redeem the money you spend but those scholarship are under criteria not for everyone actually those who can't afford. Fees is not much 3500 thousand per semester apx including registration fee library and everything for arts section.

The fees in Calcutta University back in 1999 was quite less and the entire course fees was about Rs400. Fees hike was extremely rare. The college provided scholarships to ranked students who scored well in the semester exams. There was no such campus placements but the courses opened several gates for higher education.

The fees structure is good, you will pay 9000 per year for BSc general course, there is a kanyasree scholarship for girl students for their study and it is a government scholarship. And there are also other scholarships available.

The college offers a number of scholarships to the economically weaker and meritorious students. Some of them are Free studentship ( for SC, ST, OBC, BPL, PH students) and Sports scholarship ( for those who excel in University sports competitions). The college also supports the State government scholarships like Merit scholarship, Minority scholarship & Merit cum Means scholarship.

I didn't take any scholarship because I am able to afford the fees but the college provides many scholarships like Minority scholarship by the State Government, Merit cum Means Scholarship by the State Government, Free studentship offered to SC, ST, OBC, BPL, PH students and if you are from a sports background then there is Sports scholarship which is offered to those showing excellence in University level Sports Competition.

My college provides the stipend for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students. And also provides the Kanyasree scheme for all the girls in the college which is a scheme of West Bengal state government.
