I applied to few other colleges due to the sports perspective. I got rejected from 2 colleges and then chose this one. Since, this was also within top 20 colleges of the nation for the course i pursued, thats the reason i chose this college above others. Also, this college was near to my residence, that made it the perfect fit for my college selection.

For the course economic honours i have applied to Srcc, sbsc, arsd, and few other colleges i couldn't make into Srcc because of the cut off but on the other hand i have chosen sbsc as my college because it has a better infrastructure then most of the south campus colleges and few of the north campus colleges. Courses wise it is the second best college for economics after Srcc and we have a very large faculty that helps us in better understanding. You can get here easily by securing 650+ marks if you are in the general category.

I applied to majorly all the commerce colleges in DU but Shaheed Bhagat Singh College was my 7th preference. I wouldn't say that this is a bad college as it has great infrastructure and some great faculty. I'd say my CUET numbers 720 were not so good to get me a better college. The admission process is pretty easy here. The exams for here is CUET and the cutoffs are around 720 marks here

During 2016, the admissions were on the merit basis, i missed kirori mal college by .25 marks and the next best alternative was shaheed bhagat singh college for b.com, so i got admission here. Sbsc is somewhat better college of delhi university when compared to other south campus colleges. It has good infrastructure with separate basketball court and a very large playground, which other colleges of south campus lack. The courses provided here are adverse and all the faculty members are good and friendly. They always help the students regarding their course and in extra curricular activities also. The cut off for general and obc category students is still high but sc and st cut offs are a little on the lower side. If someone is thinking about getting admission in delhi university and wants south campus then Shaheed bhagat singh college is great.

This college is known for its faculty and teaching for commerce field (which i opted), so it was one of the better choices among other colleges providing the same course. Also because of CUET the colleges were automatically alloted on the basis of CUET scores.

My admission was done on a merit-based but now it is on the cuet exam which is good and there are reservations provided as well which is helpful for lower caste and the economic weaker sections as well which is very good
Candidates must have completed class 12th from any recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in the best four subjects, which must include Mathematics and English, to be eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs offered at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.
At CBS, there are two admissions processes:
Merit-based B.SC. (Computer Science) and entrance-based (BBA(FIA) and BMS).
To be admitted to Merit-based courses, you must meet the cutoff.
Every year, DU holds an entrance exam known as the DU-JAT for admission to entrance-based courses in SSCBS, administered by NTA. Admission to the BBA course with a specialization in Financial Investment Analysis is based on the score obtained in the test. The paper includes business-related Mathematics, Reasoning, English, and General Knowledge. Those who have cleared the entrance are called in.
However, the entrance exam is not the only admission criterion. When calculating the final score, the admission test score is given 65% weightage, while class 12th marks are given 35% weightage. You must await the university test notification. However, ensure that you are capable of succeeding in any situation.
