As per my knowledge thus college do not give any type of internship.the motive of the college is to give best education to make qualified person.that is why the college do not give any type of internship.
I choose this course because i was planning to this course at my school this college provides the best teachers as they all are ph.d holders.

As I am from commerce background and also have interest in B.Com(Hons). AS B.Com(Hons.) provide more valuable subjects to you like Corporate account, Taxation and many more which are also present in the syllabus of CA. Also fro this year new additional BBA subjects are listed which will increase your learning.

Basically it's a distance learning, but they also provide classes offline on weekends.
Highly affordable if looking for distance learning.

Dislikes

They normally conduct their clases offline( I have not attended those as I m not from Delhi). They should also bring some online system also.
Sol management system. They issue date sheet very late.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have earlier discussed the course structure it is well-designed. U will get knowledge of accountancy, law, income tax, goods and service tax, costing, financial management, audit etc To some extent it's aligned with ca course also. Frequency of exams - Total 6 semesters, twice a year. Timing of exams - It can be a morning shift or evening shift also.

The professor of my college were very understanding and teach concept nicely. They guide about every pattern of the examination their good sense of humor makes the environment light and stress free
The faculty of the campus also very helpful. They provide books and notes timely and solve every issue easily

Dislikes

The classroom arrangement sometimes messy. There were no electricity
Washroom were in terrible condition you can't ven use the washroom there were no soap nothing

I choose the bechalores in commerce honours (b. Com hons) because the curriculum there was a vast syllabus and amazing curriculum to hand on experience. You will learn each and everything by doing this course. I think college should introduced some practical learning where students go through from daily life experience. Practical based learning. The frequency of the exams should twice in a year and timings of exams should 2hours and the difficulty level of the exams should be medium not more than that rather than focusing on students marks curriculum should focused on the day to day life experience. The real life experience where the students can apply thes studies and stuffs.

The infrastructure is so good , the college alloted are so nice
Area is well cleaned and sanitized while the garden is so beautiful and have sa water coolers on every part of floor

Dislikes

The area or the location which is not that good and there are some pan shops nearby
The washrooms are not well maintained are so gross to go in

Low course fees is a standout feature for students who want the credibility of DU without having to compete for regular college courses of DU. The degree from this college is equivalent to the DU BACHELOR degree given to any regular DU student.
The hard copy of the study material were provided every semester at the centre. The study material itself were very comprehensive and useful and I didn't any other material to pass the university exams.

Dislikes

There a considerable doubt of the students overall for the accountability of officials towards student concerns. I've heard of many instances where students were made to appear for reexam only because of the omission of attendance by the officials.
Annual admission payments of each year are made through online mode through their website which is not very trustworthy. There are numerous failed payments. They really need to work upon their payment portal as the payment time is usually just 1month

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a CA student and being a student of professional course required me to give significant focus and time to my course. With some reference, i got to know about this college where there was no minimum attendance criteria. Plus the exam subjects aligned with my CA subjects so the exams were pretty doable for me without losing focus from my CA exam preparation. The only demerit for me especially was i had to travel from my hometown to delhi everytime exam session because they used to conduct in DU colleges in Delhi only. The preparation time they gave in between the exams were sufficient for me to clear the papers, practicing the previous year papers were main focus during exam preparation. Overall the course helped me get a bachelor degree without much hassle along with my CA course.

DU is a very renowned college Teachers are very supportive and highly qualified in DU.

Results are declare very late on Du especially for sol students
Very less classes are conducted in Delhi University for School of open learning students.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placements for Delhi University School of open learning students in Delhi University they are only for the regular students of Delhi University. In regular college also very few students are able to get campus placements . You have to find job yourself after completing the course.

Classes were recorded so that if one misses it they can access it anytime.
The study material was also very relevant and thorough and the best part was it was provided by the college without any additional charges .

Dislikes

Classes were held in a big auditorium which became too crowded sometimes that hindered the learning process
Although study material was relevant and thorough it was not printed properly and the paper quality used was also not up to the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum attracted me because I wanted to start my career in finance so this was probably the best kick start to it.. The curriculum covered all the various aspects of the financial majors . And gave students a thorough knowledge about it It included subjects like accounts, management, business mathematics, English, financial management, income taxation, goods and service tax, etc. It included a lot of topics that gave a theoretical representation of the real world senarios and the various things one might do in order to cope up in those situations. Although course had many theoretical representation of practical world but in lacked the practical practicing the knowledge that we gained throughout the course. The frequency of examination was optimum but the difficulty level of exams could have been increased.

Course is completely good and very easy to understand ypu need to get the concept and take proper classes and you are all done to score good marks though b.com is not a hard subject to do. Accounting will take more time rest will be fine.
