IMI Kolkata Placements 2024 concluded recently for the PGDM batch 2022-24 with a 100% placement record. IMI Kolkata highest package recorded was INR 20.38 LPA. IMI Kolkata average package stood at INR 12.02 LPA and the median package at INR 12.64 LPA. Some of the top recruiters who participated were Deloitte, ICIC Bank, KPMG, Pwc, EY, Jockey, Byjus, etc.
IMI Kolkata Placement 2023 has provided 100% placement opportunities to its students with 186 offers. In the IMI Kolkata Placement 2023, 187 students enrolled for the placement drive among which 186 students participated in the final placement drive. After the 1st year students are available for payment. there are more than 70 companies that will come for placement and internship opportunities. the highest package was 15lpa and the average went to 6-7 LPA. 100% placement.

- I like the most if the facilities they provide here, the quality food in hostel.
- Library resources, faculty and the strict rules and regulations of the college which always expects us to behave like a professional

- The SIP part, because i dindt get the internship in core finance because most of the companies come in the marketing
Placement Experience:
Placements are good and after the 4th-trimester students will be eligible for sitting in the final placements and after the 1st-trimester students will be eligible for the summer internship. Gartner, Big 4 and Grant Thornton like companies that hire in bulk with good packages but Gartner don't hire in bulk and it offers the PPO also after the SIP with around 17lacs, as of now I am not informed of the highest package because I still placements are going on so don't know right now. 97% of students get the placements from the college because some students are the dumbest asses in the college and the college is not responsible for their negligence because the college can provide you only the platform to grab the opportunities not a hub of employment remember my point. My plan is to get into the finance sector with Big 4 or GT after my degree.

When compared to other universities in the same rank, IMI-K has an excellent placement report. IMI K placement 2021 candidates were offered with the highest package of INR 20.7 LPA and the average package was INR 8.55 LPA. Generally more of BFSI companies come to campus. More often than not profiles come for sales be it in the FMCG, BFSI or Life Insurance. Companies also come for finance and HR jobs. Till last year we had 100% placements. Till year because of Covid, we had 98% placements.

The Placement at IMI had been good so far. With an average package of 6.5 lakhs. Few companies which visited last were Randstad, HDFC, ICICI, CESC, Edelwise and many more. Same is the case with internships, I did my internship in a very good reputed FMCG company. The list of companies that visit the campus for SIP is very long. And yes the college conducts mock GD, PI to prepare the students for the palcement and internship process
Placement Experience:
The companies visiting the campus are mainly of BFSI sector,offering the job role of sales and marketing. Apart from that, consulting, opeations, finance, HR roles are also offered. HDFC LIFE, ICICI PRUDENTIAL, CESC, MARICO,DABUR, KANTAR, DELLOITE, RANSTAD, RELIANCE RETAIL, MORE, BYJUS, OYO, JSW, to name a few, visit the campus. The quality of students passing out from IMI-K is good, so the institute maintains its reputation by providing 100% placement. The placement process is rigorous where each company shortlisst the candidates based on gardes, followed by aptitute test and finally interview by HR.
