Remarks :

college provide pretty well curriculum which is far better than nit's and it one of the best iiit in India it is fully focusing on skill set required for upcoming years. In Tamilnadu it is one of the centrally funded college which offers engineering related courses for students.

EVERYTHING REASONABLE EXCEPT PLACEMENTS IN RECENT YEARS.MANY OF THE FACULTIES ARE FROM BEST IIT''S, NIT'S,AND ABROAD UNIVERSITIES MOST OF THEM HAVE GOOD KNOWLEGDE AND EXPERIENCES. ACADEMICS ACTIVITIES ARE OK BUT NOT BETTER THAN OTHER COLLEGES.

Placement Experience :

MANY OF THE recruiters ARE FOM IT BACKROUND ONLY, IT COUNT 70 PERCENTAGE OF PLACEMENTS HAPPENING THROUGH THIS. LAST TWO YEARS PERCENTAGE OF JOB OFFERS GOT BY STUDENTS GONE TO VERY LOW LEVEL.PLACEMNT TEAM NEED TO PUT FURTHER MORE EFFECTS TO BRING COMPANY HERE.

Campus Life :

class rooms are good enough to conduct classes but lab facilities need to improve further teaching. There are many clubs available to enhance student interests. Entire campus had built by different style of architecture.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was overall good but it's a bit pressure also. But as everyone knows good things required hard work. So I really enjoyed the whole course during the college years. There are two exams. One is internal of 25 marks and second one is of 75 marks, which is external.

BSc. in medical lab technology is a very demanding course nowadays . It's mostly a practical based degree which gives you the vast knowledge about different types of disease & their diagnosis. The patient interaction , sample taking , making slides , performing different tests to know the actual disease are different aspect of the course.The 6 months paid internship also gives good work experience which is very important.
