IMI Kolkata offers PGDM program as its flagship program. Shortlisting for the PGDM program will be based on the CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT and ATMA scores. IMI Kolkata also offers FPM program. For admission to the program, the institute conducts Research Aptitude Test (RAT). However, candidates having valid CAT/GRE scores will also be considered. IMI Kolkata PGDM Admission 2024
IMI Kolkata provides a full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) for a duration of 2 years. The course is considered equivalent to an MBA program by AIU. For MBA admissions, IMI Kolkata will not conduct WAT (Written Admission Test).
The total fees for IMI Kolkata MBA program is INR 13 Lakhs.
IMI Kolkata PGDM Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Students in their final year of graduation can also apply.
- Candidates must also have obtained at least 50% marks in 10th and 12th examinations.

- Visit the official website of the institute and click on the link provided for the online application. Candidates will be redirected to the registration portal.
- Complete the registration first by entering your name, email id and other details asked.

IMI Kolkata offers a full time Fellow Programme in Management at research level to postgraduate researchers and executives for a duration of 4 years. FPM Course is offered in Economics, Finance & Accounting, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management, Marketing, Strategic Management, Information Systems, and Operations Management specializations. IMI Kolkata provides the Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) to working individuals.
IMI Kolkata FPM & EFPM Eligibility Criteria
- FPM: Candidates must have a postgraduate degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized institute.
- FPM/ PhD: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology/ Management/ Economics/ Social Science/ Biological Science/ Pure Science/ Commerce/ Humanities with First Class + % years of Full time work Experience. + A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience as a full–time teaching academic or in the corporate sector.
IMI Kolkata EFPM Selection Criteria
The admission process for the EFPM programs of IMI New Kolkata is a two-step process. Firstly candidates need to submit the Online Admission Form with Relevant Documents and Research Proposal of 5000 words.
The college will release a list of candidates on the basis of their Applications. Selected candidates will be further called for a Personal Interview for final selection.

IMI Kolkata offers a weekend Post Graduate Certificate in Financial Markets (PGCFM) program for working executives for a duration of 11 months.

There will be no GD(Group Dicussion), no WAT(Writting Ability Test).

The admission process was quite simple, based on my cat score, my interview was held and I was selected at the International management institute, Kolkata. Eligibility of the course is min 60% in every educational everything is available on the college website.

- Library resources, faculty and the strict rules and regulations of the college which always expects us to behave like a professional

- The SIP part, because i dindt get the internship in core finance because most of the companies come in the marketing

Eligibility of the course PGDM is you have to be graduated with any stream because MBA colleges don't limit anyone on the basis of stream, you should appear in the entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, and NMAT. You can find the application form on the college website, application fees and application dates everything will be displayed on the website itself. yes, there are some reservations for EWS students you can directly get the 100% scholarship if you have the EWS certificate with you when the college asks you to give then you have to provide certain documents and then they proceed accordingly. As I do not personally recommend any improvement in the admission process because they are doing already well.

Good placement and internship history.locate in my own state and get full educational loan from Sbi Alipore.Excellent education culture,good infrastructure also the factors to choose this college.No ragging in college.Hostel facility is also excellent.There are several clubs and committes where students can join and develop their skill before entering in company.

I took an loan from SBI bank for the entire amount. I chose the college because of the placements it offered and the modern infrastructure. The marketing faculty of the college is also top notch. The sports are also good.

Location. I wasn??t allowed to go outside Calcutta. I know passouts from IMI and I had a word with them regarding placements and faculty. The reviews were better than that of other MBA colleges in Kolkata.

I also see about their faculty of the college. Co curricular activities carried out in college that will help in building student skills should be another reason for me to choose the college.
