UBDT College of Engineering admissions for B.E., MCA, MBA, B.E. (Lateral), and M.Tech programs are based on the performance in the qualifying exam and the Common Entrance Test. For UG admissions, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted. For PG-level programs, PGCET exam scores are considered for admissions. UBDT College of Engineering, located in Davangere, Karnataka, is situated on 46.4 Acres of land. It provides state-of-the-art infrastructure across the Engineering, Management, and Computer Applications departments. Some of the key infrastructural features provided are as follows:
- Spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a computer center, and auditoriums.
- All the departments have Seminar halls which is equipped to be used for various academic and extracurricular activities.
- The college has a library with a spacious reading room, a textbook section, a reference section, a periodical section, a book circulation section, and a digital library section. It has 97480 books, which include reference books, magazines, newspapers, and journals.
- Hostel accommodations are provided for boys and girls students. Two independent blocks for Boys can accommodate around 350 students. For Girls, they are accommodated in rented buildings outside the campus. Presently, a building for a girls' hostel is under construction. Mess facilities, indoor games, reading room, sports, library, TV, etc, are provided to the students.
- A co-operative canteen is running in the premises of the college under the supervision of students and staff.

The total fee structure for B.Tech CS course at UBDT CE Davanagere is around INR 76,000 for 4 years. And as the college is a public University so it doesn’t offer management quota seats.
