The curriculum that maitreyi follows Is the one given by Delhi University. BA hons Political science Almost covers all the relevant topics which are needed. The curriculum is really vast and we get to study seven Subject each semester, you get to choose one general Elective paper, one skill enhancement, One value additional course, You get a chance to choose between one language, And you get to study EVS in a alternative semester. The exams Occur every semester end, and the difficulty level is moderate. Most of the questions are PYQs only . it is not really tough to pass the exams. The teaching methods of the professors make it more easier because most of the questions are already discussed in the class.

I chose this course because of my upsc preparation. Also, I had a deep interest in international relations in specific. The class is divided into 2 sections Hindi and English medium. Class student and the teacher-student ratio is one teacher for approx 50 students. Overall faculty is good and the teaching methodology is also very effective for some teachers.

I opted for this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the political domain. From the very beginning, I had a keen interest in the historical values and political sphere of a country. If I talk about the student ratio then it is 1 professor for 70-80 students. The faculty in my college is quite notable and meritious. they are very helpful, understanding, and kind. when it comes to exams they put their best foot forward to support students. There are semester exams after every 6 months and internal exams monthly. Passing exams is quite easy if u study regularly. NOTE; KEEP YOUR CURRENT AFFAIR HANDY.

The course and factuality in this course in this college are good, professors are supportive and helpful, during the first year it was also difficult for me to understand everything because the first-year teachers did not pay much attention they just want to complete their curriculum, but second and third-year teachers really do pay attention towards students proper assignments and projects class debates engagement of students.
We just have semester exams and internals in which teachers prefer to take tests. They are nice and not that difficult if one has gone through all the concepts and past years. One can prepare decently in 1.5 months for the whole semester. faculty is really educated and good to us .
BA Political science is a great subject if you are interested in any type of civil services. Most of the faculty is the alumni of JNU . Teaching method is great . Very supportive and intelligent faculty. Ratio would be 60:1 . Exams happens once in 3-4months after every semester. And paper pattern is good.
I chose Political Science Hons at Maitreyi College because of the faculty er her as they are amazing. Regarding the examination, the first thing is to fill the examination form along with the Rs 1020 for the same. Enough time is provided for completing the assignments and the gap between assignment completion and the exams is enough for one to prepare well for the exams. It is easy to score if one pays attention in the class and complete the assignments based on understanding in the class. Moreover, the best way to prepare is to look analyse the trend of questions of the previous 10 years as this would help you to know the kind of questions that could be asked. And even sometimes questions are repeated so analysing the previous year question papers helps a lot. The faculty is always there to assist us with all of our requirements and solve our problems. They are active during the examination as well so that they can help us in the case of some glitch or network issue.
I choose ba. Hons political science as it was my main focus from class 11 th . i love to study pol sci as it serves you with plenty of knowledge about the world relation , laws , politics , system of governance, analysis of political activities , thoughts , behaviour and many more.the faculty of my college is so good some teachers were so amazing as they provide us a platform to discuss and share more things together and boost up our confidence . and some were boring too who only works on books language. our class is divided into 2 sec A and sec B English and Hindi medium respectively with the ratio of 7:3. our faculty were very well qualified and the method of every teacher was different from each other. some use oral method and makes more interaction and some only provide book knowledge which makes class little boring .exams were taken twice in 1 year, inc internals, assignment, presentation, group discussions, and speech, etc.,to pass the exams you only need to concentrate on the class
I chose political science simply because I did not get Psychology hon in that college. However the faculty was amazing, and I’m glad I studied Pol (Nikita Ma’am). There were two sections for Hindi and English medium with approximately 50-60 students in each class.
