- Faculty is great especially in computer science.

- Mess food was poor. Hostels were not well maintained.
Hostel Facilities:
In th first year we were provided rooms with 3 occupancy followed by rooms with 2 occupancy in second and third year. In the final year, we were allotted single rooms. The quality of food was average. Renting a room is allowed only if you have some local guardian.

- College infrastructure is good...the place is like heaven
- Faculty is good if u work according to them
Dislikes
- There is outing problem for girls... No restrictions for boys
- There are less machines or equipment in the labs
Hostel Facilities:
For boys there are 6-7 hostels for different year or branches... For first year there is separate hostel... For girls there are 3 hostel... To be honest there is no comparison of food with that of home made food

- Environments ,surrounding, senior support
- Faculties support and infrastructure of the college too
Dislikes
- Always the 75%criteria of this college and also we have to go college on Saturday too
- Hostel infrastructure is avg so in my opinion it is the only thing they can improve too

Hostels are average in this college as I am a hostel student so I know it very well rooms are well organised for the 1-2 year we have to live in 3 student room i.e In a single there will be having 3 students with their seperated bed ,almirah and study table and other facilities like switch boards lights fans etc Food of hostel is avg as you all know that is common for all hostel's mess

- The Campus of BTKIT is so refreshing with the natural air
- Faculty is supportive and helpfull. Loved their teaching way.
Dislikes
- I don't love the Hostel at all. Nothing is good in the hostel
Hostel Facilities:
As a true review, i will rate hostel facilities 2.5 out of 5. I don't like mesh food at all. They don't even follow proper hygiene. Menu is also not good. Registration process is that we have to fill hostel form and fee submition receipt should be sticked with the registration form.

Locality is very quite and charm it is very quiet place everyone here is friendly oir college is situated 2km away from the town dwarahat But local people arw very good and pg service is also nice. So locality is nice and quiet.

Mess heads are decided among the students and a menu is decided for whole week at the commencement of the year 13000 is the fees for one sem of hostel including rent, food, electricity etc. Food isn't that great but you can eat at the nearby shops and canteens.

The food in my hostel is quite good than others. In the breakfast, there are 3 days we get "Aaloo Ke Parathe" one day Halwa, and one day Eggs and Tosts, and the kuch we get Dal Arhar, Dal Malka, Dal Rajma, Chole and with one green vegetables and Rice. and the Dinner we get Paneer with Roti two days, Chole with Gajar Sabji two days. The registration process is simple. for registration simply contact to warden and pay fees of semester wise and take seat. There are no PG or private room facilities in the location.

The rooms are good and large light facilities are good with generator every hostel have own generator mass food is good the hostel have own personal plying field and court and a little park there is 24*7 water facilities are available.

All students are mandatory have to take hostels except locals. So there is no hustle to apply for hostels. All sharing rooms. Year/ batch wise hostels allotment. There are total 11 hostels in college.8 for boys 3for girls. No PG'S nearby. Poor water system despite having separate pumping system of college. Water tanker will be there every morning with limited water just 1 or 2 bucket per person.Rest water needs to be fulfilled through nearby natural water resource 1km away for clothing, bathing, drinking water. Electricity is good with in-campus power station. But when light gets cut or line gets shut very late and disappointing repairing facility is provided by college electrician.one may have to face 4,5 days or even weeks without electricity. Hostel buildings structure is very pity. Fee hostels got totally damaged as were not repaired on time. But sadly SHIVALIK HOSTEL FOR 1st yr BOYS is still open for accommodation despite its dangerous and life threatening crumbling structure. Other all hostels have window panes problems and sewage pipes problems.every morning it gets back the stuff in toilets.
