We have a very good count of companies visiting our campus with a very good package this college is best in terms of placement.
The teachers teach so well and are too friendly and pay attention to all students and encourages to study.
That is the best one and here a lot of festivals take place in my opinion this is a good college for enjoying campus lifestyle.

Dislikes

Not proper facilities not good food in hostel i am not i hostel but i feel bad for. Hostel students
I hate couple in the college because they can make distraction
Mess food is sometimes very bad unhygienic sometimes only this occurs

Overall review is good option for students who do not able to takes addmission in any iits and nits

Likes

A huge clubs are for your personality development and for knowledge gaining.
Infrastructure is very nice.college has lush green campus.labs are very well maintained.
Good events and seminars organizing every months.

Dislikes

Teachers are average who teaching only ptu classified syllabus and not more focussing on skills growth.
According to college fees the college is average on an complete rating.
Also mess food are very normal according to it's mess charges.

Placement Experience:

Students from third and fourth year are eligible for campus placement here.companies like Wipro,HCl tech and tech Mahindra are visited and offered many placements but with low salary packages.some students got also higher packages.highest placement is 54.75lpa according to college data but not specified about company who got this package and average package is about 6-7 lacs. Percentage of students getting placement is about 70-75 pecent.and I don't think about placements.I also prepare in my fourth year for my placement.If I got placement by on drive campus then good and if I not getting any placement by on drive then I apply for off drive placement.

The Training and Placement Program is great
They also teach beyond the btech course, with trainings on soft skills, aptitude, advance technologies, etc.
Subsequent reviews are conducted with HODs as well as director principal.

Dislikes

Perhaps, the infrastructure can be improved.

The placements are nice. Most people got placed in the last few years. Many people had multiple offers as well. The average package is around 8 lpa Highest package for 2024 was 54 LPA. Service based, product based and even startups hire from CEC.

Faculties are great here. They are very supportive and frank. They treat as a friend sometime so we can rely on them
The campus is so green and beautiful here. There are many flowers and trees here to keep the environment fresh
Hygiene is the most important thing. And the college is so clean and hygiene.

Dislikes

I don't think i disliked anything but the fact that the college only used punjabi language in their DJ or in their anchoring. The students from other states can't understand it.
The study material and equipments should be more. We have limited books in our library. I think they can do more in numbers.
Hostel food can get more better. And the stationery shop should be open till late night.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, we are eligible for placements. They are many companies who give placements to students like cognizant, accenture, amazon, Bosch, HP, Nokia and many more. They give wide no. of offers. In 2023, bosch have placed 500 students in their company from our college. Highest package was 40 lpa and average was 8 lpa. 80% students got their placements from the college. My plan is working in a IT company

Cgc gives placement

Likes

Teacher are good and 75% attendance is compulsory for all students.
Hostel facilities are also good and the food is delicious for vegitarian people .
Campus is small but I don't think about the campus because study is main role in this time

Dislikes

Hostel bathroom is not clean and and electricity bill is very costly.
Cgc gives back (paper) many students. I think is the income of cgc .
Cgc is not a university this is collaborate to ptu so I didn't recognise this things.

The affordable college

Likes

The campus is pretty big, so you have a lot of space to hide if you are bunking a lecture.
Provide you practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge
Faculty members are very cooperative and helps you wherever you got struck.

Dislikes

The strictness as a fresher it makes you feels like you are in school
You can get debbard in the basis of your attendance
There is no network in the canteens, so you can't use internet fluently there

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 3rd year . Many big companies visited in the campus like Bebo, TCS , Congnigent, Capgemini, Google and a lot more. The height package was of 41LPA and average package was of around 4LPA. And the placement percentage is very high it's about 98%.

Likes

Greeny and Lushy campus which relieve stress mind
Teaching staff is pretty good.All teachers are minimum master or PhD level pass out

Dislikes

Management is bit slower in paper like things which take students 2-3 rounds to them
College is located in some rural area which is somewhat annoying

Affordable not many facilities college

Likes

There are no ragging cluture in our college. Our college is fully raging free. Also our college is very affordable for middle class students easily
In our college the teacher student relation is also very good
In our college there are many events and punjab actors and singers came

Dislikes

The faculties are not much skilled as I expected
The classroom doesn't have AC facilities so in hot summer days it's hard to study
There are not many shops as much as there are students

This college is affordable for middle class but they didn't have much facilities there are no ac service in our college. I am in computer science but the computer is not too highly specialized to perform big data analysis

Things you should know about Cgc Jhanjeri

Likes

The campus is very nice and beautifully and full of greenery which connects are to the nature also.
Canteen and cafe areas provide good and delicious food in cheap price which is very budget friendly for students.
I like playing football and other sports so this college provides good opportunities for students who are interested in playing at a good level.

Dislikes

They don't have Ac in all classes which are major problem students face in the summer.
At the lunch time ,there is so much rush in the canteen so students face a little difficulty in getting food timely.
The college is located in the village area so transport facilities are not that much available for day scholars students
