How do I appear for the selection process at JAGSOM after being shortlisted in the written exam?

JAGSoM looks at innovation potential, solution orientation and value fit of the candidates, besides their consistent academic performance and work experience for admission into its PGDM/MBA program. All short-listed candidates for the two-year full-time PGDM/MBA programme at JAGSoM are required to appear for the selection process, which comprises the following components :JAGSoM Management Aptitude Test (JAGMAT):JAGMAT is an aptitude test and comprises of 3 sections, which are English Language Proficiency (ELP), Quantitative Aptitude (QA) and Logical Reasoning (LR). Each section will be of 25 marks summing to 75 marks. There will not be any negative marking. Duration of the test will be 90 minutes.Group Exercise (GE):A 30-minute group exercise in groups of six to eight candidates each to assess the candidates' solution orientation.Personal Interview (PI-1):A personal interview for assessing the value fit of the candidate with the institute. It will be an interview with the shoulder batchmates.Personal Interview (PI-2):A personal interview for assessing the value fit of the candidate with the institute. The interview panel will have 3 panelists (1 Faculty Member, 1 Industry Expert, 1 Alumni)

Placement Experience:

JAGSoM follows a continuous employability approach. As of now I can say final placements have just started and I have witnessed Classic of legends and Aditya birla group. The average placement in our college is around 11-12 lpa for marketing and 10-11 lpa for finance not sure about other courses.

Students are eligible for the placement after 5th semester. We have dedicated placement cell ran by student committee as well as faculties incharge. Companies such as HDFC, Tiger analytics, Wow momos, etc have been on campus for hiring process. Our average package for the batch of 2021-2023 was 1350000/- with 100% placement rate.

One of my friends is an alumnus of IFIM and he had a great academic experience at the institute. According to what he has told me, the placement at the institute is good. The best thing about IFIM is its pedagogy which is up to date according to the industry requirements.

JAGSOM Bangalore, which was formerly known as IFIM Business School has observed record-breaking placements in recent years. The 2018-20 batch observed a 100% internship cum placement rate in December 2019. It also received 159 early final placements for 2021.

PGDM 2019-21 batch observed a steep rise of 12% in the annual salary packages and concluded the academic year with a 100% placement rate yet again.

It is the sixth business school to be accredited by AACSB in 2018 and has been ranked at 51 by the QS World University Ranking.
This year, the academic institute conducted its entire placement drive virtually and still managed to have a 100% placement rate. The recruiters were a good mix of the marquee and new-age companies.
There was a new observation of more niche roles that came about during this placement drive which included roles in AI-enabled HR engagement software, Digital HR, Fintech applications, Product Management, and much more.
Apart from this, there were a noticeable upward hiring trend within the IT, Edu Tech, and Management Consulting sectors.
